Leave her.
You decide to leave the girl behind.
She will tell some made up story, too embarrassed to confess the truth. But once she calms down and has washed herself, she will identify the shopkeeper's son as the one who attacked her, but will semi-accurately guess that he was possessed by a demon at the time. Someone will say they saw the lad running down the road out of town, and her parents get folks to set up a watch on the road- the only way to get to the village is through a narrow pass, which has a small wooden wall built across it. Normally, the doors are wide open, the gate unmanned, but when the punishment for not taking your turn at watch is being banned from the drinking hole, few object to standing on those ramparts and opening and closing the gates for the carts of ore and food that pass through it- not before checking for any demons on board.
There is a half-hearted attempt to find you; villagers with pickaxes and torches search for a few hours before giving up. Well, you have your Amberärshs- though they disguise themselves as a pile of bones and ash at the moment, so you carry them around in a large sack.
You send word to the cultists, in their dreams, that you shall be away for a while, but to look after the inkeeper's daughter. If she starts to show... cravings, be sure to provide her with human meat and blood- however necessary. You swear to return periodically, to check up on their status.
Then you leave Barrspring. Disguised as a human- a different human- you follow the road, which, in turn, follows the stream Barr, polluted with mine run-off as it is, down from the heights of the eastern mountains, being joined by several other streams which clear it until the water is fresh once more, and then down over a thundering waterfall, the rocks of which are painted red by the remnants of iron in the stream, and so becoming the slightly more peaceful river Barr.
Here, by the red waterfall, is the town of Akataki, where the food for Barrspring is produced, and the iron from its mines sold. This is the big city to which the youth of Barrspring travel for education and socializing. It is a medium-sized market town, surrounded by small farms, and with tracks leading up into villages high in the mountains. The town has a significant smithing industry for its size- the smiths of Akataki are famous- they say Barrspring Steel is not Barrspring Steel if it hasn't been forged by an Akataki smith.
Now, you are hungry from your journey- both physically and mentally. You can feel your child beginning to grow already, and it saps your concentration further not to know his (or her) fate. It has taken you a week to make this journey. Now you will
-Sneak into town and eat someone
-Rampage into town and eat several someones
-Sneak into town, enslave someone, then eat them
-Have the Amberärshs rampage around the countryside and bring you someone to eat.
-Have the Amberärshs rampage into town and bring you someone to eat.
-Do something completely different, so long as it involves eating someone.
Required: Action (which involves eating someone)
Optional: Define gender of unborn child.
Define other things about unborn child. Level of mutation is random- from human with a gift for magic, to human with little horns and a tiny tail, to completely inhuman monstrosity which probably eats its way out of its mother. But you can say what sort of mutations you'd like to see. Horns? Wings? Tail? Affinity for fire magic?
