have to agree. This conquest brings us up to three locations; I really don't think we need an overcouncil for them yet. Furthermore, we don't have anybody who's proven themselves both worthy and capable of such a position.

The only reason why we created a separate branches because there are was no way to share resources, information. Now there are a way. And 3men councils were planned long, long time ago

And currently we rule anyway

War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

Very nice battle, I was actually worried that the soldier, the priest, the witch and the others were going to escape and form some sort of adventuring party.

But no one can beat the Tall Man, who pretty much went Godzilla in the lake.  Anyway, I really can't keep up with the other suggestions, so instead, I'll just say

Reward the Champion by increasing his physical might, not to the point where he's more powerful than you, but definitely superhuman level.

Single combat's risky, we don't wanna lose a champion to some brash, stupid hero.

No, he can lose his mind that way

...Are his mental faculties really that valuable?  I guess, if he's to be used a general, okay.  But we have to make him stronger somehow.

If we can add another point safely, we should do so.

If we can add physical might, why can't we add mental fortitude?  If the physical decreases when we add mental, we can just balance it out so that the Champion is somewhat stronger both mentally and ( more importantly ) physically.

I have an idea for a new imp:

Black imp:

Advantages:  can dig, tough(for an imp), know something about mining, metalforging, weaponsmithing.
Disadvtages: can't fly, weaken by a sunlight, love to get drunk
Default appearance: Black, short, bearded humanoids covered in vomit and blood, have digging claws like moles

As for gifting power, i'd say he doesn't deserved it, in fact his perfomsance almost deserves a punishment, we had lost way too much forces

I think we planned on reserving mental stuff for mages and whatnot. Besides, he's getting smarter 'naturally'. He's 6p, 3m at base, which is thrice as strong and three times smarter than Average Joe farmer. Just give him time fighting and in our aura. We'll mess with him like the Eye of Terror messes with everything.

No. Leave a seed of our power in our champion, so if a hero does take him out, he'll rise as a monster of madness and flame, bound to our will.

We can make him stronger later....

Why no one is interested in designing new creatures?

I support this.  I was actually thinking of using him as a conduit, just in case the semi-physical form of the Tall Man is destroyed, we can regenerate using the Champion's body.  Think of it as a Horcrux.

An excellent question. It seems that people are more than willing to propose new creatures, except when asked to.

Welp.

I'll just update with what we have.

You know, I just realized something. Our consort has already proven that she can survive providing us with a heir. We should make sure we have a backup.

And while I'm on the subject, we need a siege-engine creature to pad out our forces. Rats. They're nearly omnipresent in any city. We just need to put a fire in their bellies, and let them taste our lust for destruction. Maybe bloat them to dog-size, but keep them alive so they can heal, and, more importantly, breed.

Then make some siege engine sized? Or are we saving elephants for that?
