Now half of my dwarves are throwing tantrums for no reason.

They are throwing tantrums because a bunch of their friends died to the forgotten beast dust.  They are going to punch some other dorf in the face, pissing them off, who will then destroy someone's chair, pissing them off.  Next thing you know your entire fort is gonna be full of tantrumming dorfs.  If you're really lucky your military won't get involved.  Otherwise you're going to have dorf parts scattered about the dead bodies.

Thus is the nature of the tantrum spiral.

I don't understand, though that is about right with anything DF related.
I just hope he dies the same death that all dwarfs deserve: liver disease.

send one dwarf out there for testing, it could make a supersoldier (no eyes, skin, nerves, fat :P)
I can understand fat, but how does losing skin, eyes and nerves make a dwarf a super soldier?

Skin, well that's kinda useful, but is an acceptable loss.

Fat loss means less natural armour, but can be replaced with METUL ARMUR REPLUCEMENTS - much more effective anyways, and makes them immune to all types of death by fire. Apparently though, not immune to being on the sun :(
No nerves beneath the skin = No pain. Your Dwarves fight to the death.

Or see anything to fear, with the lack of eyes.

Loud Whispers seems obsessed with that concept...

>:£

NO EYES!!!! HA HA!!! Your Dwarves practically become the best soldiers possible. They will listen to your commands - not running away from enemies when off duty, not running into enemies when on duty, doesn't even affect their performance (unless they were marksdwarves. In which case, boohoo), And allows EPIC KOREAN MICRO.
IN DF.

DF.

DWARVES.

MICRO.

EYEBALLS.

Luckily a tantrum spiral was avoided by the swift justice of my Captain of The Guard, who chained up one tantrummer and killed another due to lack of chains. The former has now gone stark raving mad despite being in a nice magnetite cell.

Magnetism messes with a dwarf's brain. Be lucky it was the multiple personality disorder and not the mindless rage.
