The bump crashed into the thread throwing it up into the air and onto the top of the list.

The bump kraken loomed menacingly over the thread, it's tentacles crashing down on a regular basis.
One of the crew members considered cloning himself to save them, but the captain said no, if there was ever a mutinee then he would have the advantage.

I understand meta won't be beneficial to survival, but the rate at which many will be dying to natural, or random occurrence would also be a factor. Which means, honesty on the player. {Which I believe many here are, or just playing in character even if they know what others are doing}

1: You can announce in the open, in Pm's, whatever you like. Just remember the other players will lie, cheat, and steal to stay alive. Also remember I am gonna do absolutely nothing to stop any funny business.
2: Yes. Each turn you can attack or heal as many players as you want.
3: You can post a breif Bio if you want, or a name. There aren't really characters in this game, its more of an abstract thing.
4: Yeah, you can dispence life, and getting other poeple to give YOU life will be one of the keys to success.
5: That would be extremely helpful, yes.
6: Ok, here's a more detailed explanation.

Title:
Conspiracy and Diplomacy (Signups) (Turn X) {Player name}
Body: (The body of the message, not specific body parts to attack)
Attack player1 5 (The numbers after the attack is how much energy you want to attack with. So, this move would expend 5 energy, give you 5 life, and take 5 life away from the target.)
Heal player9 3 (This one would expend 5 of your life, give you 5 energy, and give the target 5 life)
attack player4 8
attack player7 5
(If you submitted this turn, you would end up with +15 life, and -15 Energy.)

Also, I am about to add an example turn in the original post.

Well, to bump this...

Tiruin blinked, all he saw was darkness. He held firm, after a while his vision returned to him. It literally was darkness, just that he could see a multitude of lights and colors swirling about him far out of reach.

He looked around, there were others like him. Then He looked at himself, there was a black number '9' attached to his body. Then he felt the pull-- the pull so strong, it could pull whole nations and even planets. Luckily, he was in a voidship.

The pull was too strong, but according to the broken laws of Physics, it would be sustainable if there was less mass in the proximity of the collapsing star.

In his mind, a battle raged. One between a monster of legend against mortal men. The Kraken was about to kill them all, until the captain fired quick facts to the crew and ordered them to hold steady; they will survive this. And survive they did, for the Kraken was pushed back into the azure depths, and there was joy all around, for they now had a story to tell.

. . .

At least he still had his dry sense of humor with him to keep him company.

The man known as the phantom sat in his chair, books towering around him, and the blue glow of a monitor washing over him.  At last, all the fleets were assembled and ready to begin war, there wasn't enough room in this system for all of them, and he would make sure that he was the one that got his unfair share.  He leaned forward and spoke into the microphone in front of him:
"So, who wants to ally?"
