Really, I think this forum is strikingly civil considering our love of brutal murder of our foes.

True. Despite everything that goes on around here, if I had to choose one thing that I've actually learned from here... It would be tolerance.

It might have to due with all the ironic Grimdark stuff the fandom cracks out like baches of cupcakes. Also, the mod proper is a great beginners guide to caste making, along with (soon) having a fair slew of uniqe creatures.

Oh, and ponies in general infect everything they touch like a candy-coated Zerg, exept some welcome it with open arms.

To be honest this seems like a much better thread for the forums rather than here.

I'm pretty sure specifically dwarf fortress/pony stuff is still allowed (such as the mods), but wild mass guessing crossover discussion is pushing it.

Discussion of MLP:FiM was banned from the general discussion forum, but since Toady hasn't touched the mod or fort threads I suppose as long as it relates to DF somehow it's okay.

Although this is kind of pushing it I guess, since it's only tangentially related to DF.

As long as noone starts spamming pony pics or talking about unsavory pics, it'll probably be fine.

In short terms.

Good show + /co/ = One of the scariest and best fanbases to start with. It grew from there.
