I see many of you hate bronies.

...uh, I'm totally not a MLP fan at all why would you look at me like that?

Apparently though, in the early stages of the pony mods, they hadn't removed dwarves yet (from what I've pieced together from what I've read of the thread.)

Where is the chemistry
They tried chemistry once.
It created soap.
Dwarves lost interest in chemistry after that.

As it so happens, an MLP pony is actually about four feet tall.

Going by this, a D&D dwarf is also about four feet tall.

We can assume by this that a pony has slightly higher mass, aside from the pegasi, who would have hollow bones or something to enable easier flight.

If the two races met, the equines would most likely attempt diplomacy, but we all know how that would turn out. Surprise and dwarven steel would crush the first contact party and certainly the town they were in.

The resulting engagement could go either way. Applied telekinesis and aerial combat might give the steel-clad warriros trouble,
but the lack of serious weaponry that can do much to steel boxes gives the bearded folk an edge.

Thus, we should adjust the MLP mod's ponies to be of the correct size, equip them each with an army in the Arena, and let the battle begin.

I've always thought it strange that people assume the ponies are more diplomatic or nonviolent than humans.  So far as I'm concerned, they've got plenty of weapons stocked up and ready to get at each others' throats like humans would.  And magic could make a huge difference.  And I wonder if they actually have steel weapons and armor... in the cartoon it just looks like copper or bronze for the guards anyway.

Of course, dwarves being dwarves... ponies would be screwed.  Who else makes magma land mines and uses caged 50ft bronze statues to decimate their foes?

It's all nice and lovely, but seriously, Ponies aren't meant for war. Dwarves eat war. No contest. Also, ponies got magic? Dwarves got demon cat cannons.

Then again, the mobility of dem ponies would probably keep them safe from Dorf attacks.

So, stalemate. The best kind of war.

I am imagining a stalemate breaker.  Pony skirmishers hide in bushes and throw a single sock into the middle of a field with a clear field of view...

("pony farm")

Ponies are VERY suited for war. Just the sonic rain nuke alone... A large fraction of the episodes have some kind of allusion to armed conflict, and they frequently take on megabeasts.

Silly forumites. A pony needs but one pretty sock. You know the rest. [Correction - I am fairly certain that an absolutely horrid sock will do.]

That being said, it isn't like we can't devise something to burn the sock before someone wants to grab it. This design should also render all ponies incapable of living or being any other type of bother. Flying ponies might be a problem, but they kinda need to land. (Or need to pull a Lando in Ep VI - no - more funny is a Lonestar in Spaceballs. Yes, use that mental image.)

Sorry to have stopped by. I like the evil pink one if you care.

Dwarves would win a war without a doubt. Simply because the level of organization within a pony army is even worse than that of a dwarven one. No matter how powerful you are, you can't win a war if your army can't get its shit together.

I've said it once before, and I'll say it again:

Who needs the sun when dwarves can blanket the sky in obsidian?

Yup. Though I'd really like to see an army of the finest p0ni3s fighting against candy clad berserk eyeless Dorfs that feel no pain. And have no fat, as well as being on fire, for the lulz.
