Another thing, if you do get bit, warn your fellow survivors, that way you don't be a dick and turn on them and kill them all....... or don't tell anyone, i don't care.

Also, the infection can be slowed down with medication such as aspirin or Migraine pills since those go after the stuff that hurts you. They will only stall it for an extra 2 turns.

are these the types that aren't very dangerous if theres one or two that you are aware of? but just tire you out quickly in a group ;)?

I'm trying to work out if, "going medieval on their asses" is a valid tactic.

also if you have some guidelines on how you'd like us to interact with the thread/game. I'd love to hear them.

Well, if this is going how I suspect, we won't have enough ammo to "go medieval."  Unless we come across some good melee weapons *COUGHCROWBARCOUGH* stealth is our best bet.

ah my dear friend, you dont need ammo to go medieval on asses, all you need is a good blunt instrument.

Hmm, Ive been thinking of some guidelines, but i dont want to ruin any ones game. So, How about this. you each set a standard of what can and cant be done, and Ill finalize it. (one per person) Finalizing as in setting a 7 rule guideline.  :D

And yes, medieval isnt a good idea. But there will be good melee weapons when you scavenge(maybe) but you only had enough room for the guns. And you have about, Half a tank left in the truck, just so you guys know.

Hm. By 'rules', do you mean in terms of infection, etc.? Because I'd like to suggest bites being the only infection vector, as nothing would suck worse than being infected because a bit of backsplash got into a papercut that hardly broke the skin, which we got a couple turns ago while moving some supplies or something equally stupid.

That aside, yeah, it sounds like we're going with slow shamblers who are only dangerous if they can corner you. If worst comes to worst, we should try to have a decent core of supplies loaded in the truck at all times, so we can bugger out if a horde large enough to breach/scale the walls ever comes along. Mobility is going to be our best advantage here.

Say, I don't mind the 'one-bite-is-it' infection either, both because of the risk, and because it'll be the perfect opportunity to go out in a (literal) blaze of glory if/when any of us does get infected.

This true, but i mean guidelines, as in Rules of player standards. Like you can populate the world again or you cant repopulate the world, ect.

And no, if you get a paper cut, you will not turn. But say your Scratched or you accidently get Zombie Blood in your mouth, theres a 50% of infection. A bite is 100% infection, No ifs, ands, or butts.  :P

Okay, that sounds reasonable. Becoming more and more happy by the minute that I went for speed and awareness.

As for player standards... I'm fine with anything that doesn't violate forum rules.

Praise Chthon, slow human zombies.  I also accept that only bites should transfer the infection, as we are "heroes."
On another note, I'm still fuzzy on the notion of guidelines/rules/whatever.

I guess we will just go with The forum guidlines as standards for this. Also, If one of you wants to make a story of How you all came together, its ok with me.

I'd like to suggest a piece of etiquette.

Try to post atleast once a day. If you know you won't be able to for the next day or a certain period, drop a line on the OOC forum stating so.
for instance I'm going on a trip with my lovely female the coming weekend, and might not have access to the web. (Friday - Monday)

knowing in advance when someone can't post might help move the game along.
