There should be working metals above, if not i'll get you some.

The plan is to have the vault only accessed by only trusted people, ask Volg for permission.

Raid was a disapointment. We found a weakness in the walls, ran in, encountered little/no resistance (I only saw one enemy and he was behind glass), searched, found the vault, cracked the door codes, found obsidian placed behind.

Town was mostly deserted. We got some stuff, but no epic battle.

I nabbed 10 diamonds and 2 power I bows but nothing much else of value. Got one kill but I forget the guys name (think it was EcKnight). Shouldn't of had a dirt basement!

Hopefully we can get as many on for the next raid. So long as it around the weekend I'll be there.

Oh and a shot of us all before the raid:

In recent days there seem to have been some troubles with non-Bay12 members of Jotunheim.

Sidhant stole a single chest full of diamonds, but was dealt with.
For my investigative skills in the matter i was awarded officer status!

Nintendo has been thrown out for some reason.
Anybody know anything about this?

Nope.

It looks like we can only trust other B12ers.

Did someone find who was building a secret nuclear reactor and hoarding a lot of shinies?

I am almost tempted to try to get whitelisted on this server.

I can't seem to have any fun in online games unless I'm talking to the people I'm playing with. Most people are super involved with their own projects and don't really have time to explain what is happening, which in conjunction with my being new to tekkit made the experience... well, boring. I'm also not into faction wars or anything. I just like building epic things.

So... I set up a personal server to play with my wife and learn the basics of tekkit. If people start using voice chat or doing bigger community projects, let me know :) I'd love to get into the loop at some point.

AKA, why i dont like the server. (minus that i do like war.)

If you want to learn the basics...
Singleplayer, or spend a tiny bit of money for your own private server.

ok, I'll try writing and sending an application... ( how does it work? is it for a whitelist, or should I log in and get citizenship ( meaning permissions and such)?)
(also, how much time should I spend on the app? are they severe in judging?)

something may be confusing in the future. I see that among the citizens there is somebody called "Andrea_D". which is quite similar to Andrea_2.

Register on the main Terra Novo website, then press the Applications button that's up at the top of the webpage. You don't really need to put an insane amount of effort into the application, citizen apps aren't judged harshly.

should I answer questions directly, or should I be wordy?
for example, when they ask me where I found the server, should I just say
"I read of this server in a thread in Bay 12 Games forum."
or should I say more about the context, such as the fact that there is already a B12 community on the server and I wish to join them?

Tell us about your past Minecraft experiences.

I first started to play Minecraft in the days before Indev and Infdev..
My first multiplayer experiences were of course in what is now known as creative mode, since nothing else existed back then; I remember playing often on the ocean build servers.
I bought Minecraft only toward the end of alpha, and even then, I didn't play much survival multiplayer.
However, in the last year I spent much of my online time on another server, called "Nations at war",a mostly vanilla PvP/RP server where I gained much experience in multiplayer interactions in minecraft.

Describe yourself!

Assuming you are more interested in my personality than appearence...

I am usually quite friendly, most people I played with consider me an enjoyable person to have around. I like to explore, meet people, and test stuff; I am usually more interested in the social, economical political and building aspects of games, rather than warfare, but I am more than able to deal with it if present.
I don't offer a great degree of competence. as previously mentioned, I can't build complex machines, I am a terrible fighter and only a mediocre builder. However, sometimes words can contribute more to a town and a server than anything else. What I'll try to do is help creating an enjoyable environment for the people around me, putting fun ahead of success.
while I can sometimes be quick to anger, I am generally good at keeping calm and I haven't had any problem with it in the past.

opinions?
(I'll spell check them again later, but if you spot any error, feel free to say it)

I don't know if I should tell more, less or just different things :S and I am not sure what they mean by "describe yourself"
