I'll send you guys invites, since I think I have the power to do so.

Don't worry too much about /sethome, since /f home works to get you inside the fort quite easily. I generally use /sethome as a utility teleport now.

Wait, so I was using Ank's thread! I "struck the earth!" and everything, assuming nobody had done anything in the new map, and spent the afternoon doing that. Turns out everything was already happening without me? *sniffles*

I am saddened. Heavily. Especially since the place I found was pretty darned awesome :(

I am now at -1019, +361 on top of a waterlily, in the middle of a huge lake. Something has gone wrong.

Oh, according to mods the map has just started. I will find an adequate place to strike the earth!

The Dwarven Homes' surveyor has found a mountainous greeting in the form of a natural entrance. The entrance already shows coal. It is promising. Could this be a start?

There is now a super deep stairway that leads to a natural underground cave with plenty of resources and unexplored depths... and basic utilities and working materials. I guess I can take everything on my back and abandon my new wonderful home.

Yeah, nobody seems to use the new thread.
We are somewhere very far away in the wasteland.
(sand with occasional patches of soulsand and gravel, no dirt)

Anyway, would it be worth logging back in?
(as i presume i wont be doing anything, like last time.)

We need to get rid of that bounty, they used the bounty system and a compass to find us.

Somebody just needs to give me the amount needed for the fee so i can accept the bounty, then i kill ank in a wilderness-y place.
I give you guys the money, and we just abused the bounty system.
(i'm not part of the faction yet)

Oh, a note: Raiding rules don't count in the badlands. I think the teleportation ones still do (God help us if they don't!) but TNT control doesnt. You can detpack or scattercannon stuff, but deliberate griefing and block breaking is still out.

so far the same rules apply to the Borderlands as Midrim.

yesterday was very eventful, we got raided 3 times by the same guys.

first time they killed a guy, then we hid till the ran away(hurray for the one way doors)

second time we shouted at each other for a long time, when i suddenly mined out the temporary door in the machine shop, rushed and killed 1. from there we have clear advantage and killed the rest.

third time i was working on a trap and they just killed me and left.

it was Conventus all three times.

i've put a lockdown system in place, just pull any of the levers and the whole base shuts down.

You'll have to find the gates to pass through our giant obsidian wall. The gates are in the eastern jungle.
