right!
teleport pipes!

we just need 2 diamond gears to make 8 of them, which should be enough for piping in stuff to the bunker.
i still think in the long term we need power in the bunker, an MFE, and a cable leading inside.
you could make a hole, then twist the hole so there is no direct way in.

Be careful with this. You can teleport strangely in tight confines but it might be considered abusing glitches unacceptably.

Expanded bunker, made basic sorting system using diamond pipes. Don't fuck with it or you'll break it.

I meant with ender pearls and was referring to the last bit. If you manage to throw them into tight spaces you can teleport through walls and similar. It's worth thinking about if you're going to route power into the bunker.

Sorter's up, it works. Smelter works too.

Spent some time making the outside of the bunker look nicer.

Btw, I joined the base yesterday evening, and before disconnecting from the server I got killed by wandering Shinra agents. They wanted *me* (I don't know if they knew this base was not mine alone) to join their cause. I must say that they remained courteous, as they put my stuff in a nearby chest after killing me and as they did not steal everything in the machines.

So, what's the plan? Aboveground or underground extension of the base?

Aboveground will be a city with little of real value in it, all the industry will be underground in bunkers.

The plan for aboveground as it stands is a tower containing the founding 7's apartments and various amenities. I'm envisioning a Burj Al Arab sort of look to it, stepped with lots of marble and glass with sandstone and basalt used as accents and such. Ideally, each "step" will have room for solar panels.

Floor 0 will be at the same level as the surrounding desert, providing access to the current power unit and ank's nanomaterials factory as well as a safe zone to exit from the bunkers. Once the factory and power unit are moved below, this will be turned into a lush atrium.

The next floor will house 2 large apartments and a balcony. The next 2 floors are a straight shot upward, each floor containing 2 apartments. Floor 4 (5 if counting USA style) will house the seventh apartment and a rooftop Zen garden. Above the 7th apartment on individual floors will be a library, a lounge, a bar with space and supplies for making potions, and an observatory at the very top of the tower.

I have a really cool design in mind for this. It's gonna be awesome.

i'm gonna work on a glass and smooth stone factory, so we have the resources for the tower.

Well, the Citycraft 1.2 server is all ready and stuff. Hardly built up and all that. Is anyone interested in embarking there again? I don't think I can be bothered with all the mod faff for the tekkit server.

or maybe Valve goes out of business because they invested too heavily in something which then fails - like, say, human civilization.
Alternatively, initiate strife to refuse additional baked goods, and then abscond.

Mod faff? You just have to download the tekkit launcher, select the development build in the options and login, and that's all! Automation FTW.

If nobody already did it, I claim the volcanic island near the base for my project. No, I don't know yet what it'll be.
