I suggest a grudge book room:

Essentialy, we log a players name or if we can get it IP and the grudge against them. that way we can show enemys of the fortress and show the wars we fight in.

How the grude gets removed should be the decision of a 'grudge master' ie anyone who would like to be a record keeper :) and who is generaly trusted by the fort. Volunteers for the position etc.

Quoting myself in case anyone missed it:
Enderpearl teleportation is disabled on this sever. In light of this I think we should at least put the roof project on hold.
Are we still adding a roof now we know it's not necessary?

Finally, just read that thread on a possible server reset when 1.2 comes out. So, am I right in thinking that we don't know if they're going to just use the "update world" thingy so we can have double the Z levels and stuff or go for the hard reset?
Their creative mode maps are being converted but survival is being reset, that's my understanding, anyway.

(Also, I think it was Vattic, but whoever took my basic aesthetic for the iron block piston doors and used it for corridor doors: *tips hat*, it looks fucking gorgeous).
I just followed your lead but cheers nonetheless.

Alright guys, i got a few annoying demands like every true noble demands suggestions:

Expansion of tree farm
Keeping a stock of tools for people who joins the fort/dies and looses all their stuff
More wood in the wood chests
Dining hall
More art, specifically relating to the legends of the old fortress
More horizontal expansion
I am going to be moving the underground farms this weekend. One whole floor can be dedicated to farming everything including trees. I figure a small tree farm is enough as we have a steady supply of bonemeal to make them grow. If anyone wants to suggest anything please do.

Edit: One whole floor is likely overkill so I'll start big but not quite so big.

We should continue with the roof i say. but thats just me. I personaly want to put an obsidian spawn fort on top as a secure position to descend from. since its so high up and would be exited by a temporery water stream, or falling into a water pool, itd me more secure than a mechanicaly blocked spawn point that could be dug through if the lands unclaimed. Could easily have it so people can get onto the roof from this fort and then acess the tower tops to get in if the plundge pool is overrun.

I was wastly improved the mobspawner.

now the bobs drops down out of detection rates, so spawns won't be capped at 6 skeletons.

this has increased the spawnrate with about a factor of 4.

EDIT: Vattic and i installed water transport in the spawner, now the skeletons come to you on a conveyor belt.

[Ares]Ghost has sent DrPoo and I a virus link and as a result, has been booted from the group. Some gullible people may have clicked on the link and had their Steam account hacked. Do NOT, under any circumstances, open h t t p ://thanksforpurchasing. eu. ki/

He is back in the group, he just sent me the link. And OMG what a terrible bit of work it is...
Reported him via the Steam Profile page. Need to make those groups private or something, he is only doing it in Our Groups too... Dwarf Invaders and DFC...

Almost finished work on the wheat farm. It has a lever for harvesting.

Edit: Now I just need to add tree, sugar cane, cactus, and mushroom growing areas. I'll add storage and a small crafting area too.

I disagree. We don't need a whole underground forest as we have an unlimited supply of bonemeal. With the amount of bones stored we could do with using some of it.

Thoughts?

even so, bone meal or not, we need at least 10 plots -if thats a square area then its a 50 x 50 area with 10 up preferable, to get maximum branching- that way even though we have bone meal anyone can help out at any time and they can just leave trees to grow naturaly when no one is attending to them.

I suggest so much because we need wood to make mass amounts of charcoal for the furnices.
also means we dont have to rely on the skeleton bone meal if we dont need to.

can't we just plant trees outside the fort, and then harvest it there?

we have 2 stacks of sapplings, so it should be no problem

ank the idea is to be completely self sufficient in case of a raid.

even so, bone meal or not, we need at least 10 plots -if thats a square area then its a 50 x 50 area with 10 up preferable, to get maximum branching- that way even though we have bone meal anyone can help out at any time and they can just leave trees to grow naturaly when no one is attending to them.

also means we dont have to rely on the skeleton bone meal if we dont need to.
Ten tall including the floor and ceiling with eight blocks of empty space? If so then it's what I had planned. It stops the trees from getting too big and means we don't have to place blocks to reach any logs.

I'm still not convinced about needing so many. I just got almost a whole stack of bones in at most ten minutes in the mob spawner. I suppose it can't hurt to have our own indoor forest but with it's height rooms on the floor above will have to avoid where the trees are planted. This is already the case for the mob spawner.

A quick map of the new farm level. the empty looking room bellow the farms is the mob spawner.
