We should probably remove the external power from the bunker and power it from inside with some of those soalr arrays, it'd look nicer than having a massive tumor sticking out of the bunker.

So i finally removed that giant rubber tree!
please don't replant it!

and somebody put earth and normal tree's in the treefarm, which made it stop working.

please don't mess around with the stuff already there, if you are not 100% sure, how it works.

If you guys want rubber make a rubber tree farm, not a giant rubber tree. They can look nice and if you want go a bit away and make a tree-house so at least the tree has a purpose. Of a note chainsaw gets leaves so you can remake how your tree looks relatively easily if you don't mind falling a few times (hint: rubber boots if you don't have better armor). Also on the note of dirt, we don't really have a lot of it ironically. We are overflowing on metals yet I don't think we have even a single chest of dirt which makes it hard to get humus. I guess it is understandable as all our digging is under a desert and thus not prone to dirt.

Guys, we've been getting raided by different people from different groups. The guys that blew a hole in the volcano were Jarmin, Buppo, and loky93 - all of whom were very civil and were not in quantum.

Pingu blew a hole in our wall with a TNT cart, and was not in quantum.

The people who HAVE been raiding us in quantum are NOT part of one large group. Quantum is getting removed ANYWAY when the server updates to 1.2.

Why not encase them in obsidian, in true dwarven fashion?

We just got raided. Good news is our airlock trap works, bad news is that our airlock trap works. Anyway someone blew a hole in our wall and they got into the trap part of the airlock which I promptly activated. I deactivated it when they went away but they /back-ed so I did it again. Long story short we need to turn it into a drop instead of the current setup. As is they could just back and manage to get through it and until we know they can't get back we have to be careful going through the airlock. If we just drop them in a pit with magma or what have you then we can continue to use the airlock. Anyway I lost my nano feet, legs, and head along with a fully charged lappack, diamond drill, and nanosword which makes me sad. We need to up our UU matter creation so we can all get outfitted in some fine Quantum armor. This may not matter of course depending on how quickly the server goes to 1.2 and all. A quick thing I would like to suggest for when we build another base or whatever is that instead of using nice looking blocks we use the blast proof stuff and make it look nice with covers.

Well, I was planning on replacing some of the walls on the lower level with glass. I'll just replace it with Reinforced glass. And we can work on replacing the solid bit with reinforced stone and marble brick covers.

Yes, that will help though I must say the building has gotten quite big. I think we should in our replacing of things focus on the important parts, for instance the places we currently have a lever to lock would be a good start. Most of the areas are decently self contained and to start probably the building with the Mass Fabricator so that they can't just go in flip the switch and take some UU matter free. Also we could place the panels first then remove the marble from the inside and replace it so that there is not any gap in our defense while we work on it.

Started working on replacing the walls with reinforced stone. I still say we should just move the factories and such underground.

There's a hole in the sand near the exterior doors that goes downwards a decent bit. Where it bottoms out is going to be a reinforced stone "floor".

If you guys can, make more reinforced stone and replace the marble brick walls with it. Don't replace any other type of wall - we really should move the factories to the underground, and there's no point in replacing their walls with Reinforced stone if we're moving them.

What will we do about our power generation? At it present seems alright but I don't trust that. I just did some testing and solar panels of all varieties work just fine even when they have reinforced glass covering them so we can easily protect them. The only problem I foresee is that one of our big energy sources is our tree farms though with Teleport pipes they can be made fairly safe as nothing but the farm has to be in the open. One important thing to note though it seems teleport pipes are on a person by person basis or at least that is what I have observed so if one is picked up and put back down the same person will have to go and pick up and put down the other as well.

Our solar panels output ~65 eu/t, or adjusting for day/night/rain (assuming rain is 25% of the time), ~24 eu/t average.
Even without our generators, we are generating enough to easily power all of our base, and have probably 11 million eu max storage.

Short of someone greifing to destroy our solar panels, I can't really conceivably see a situation where we run out of energy short of using like a dozen overclockers in every machine, or we keep the mass fabricator on till our energy runs dry at the same time as our tree farm is off+night.
Even at 1% of our MFSU full, we will still have ~200,000 energy (100,00 MFSU, 120,000 from the batboxes farther down the line).

Hmm, I had not done any calculations about the solar panel output but you do seem right. Well that makes it a lot easier then as I stated, a solar panel can be protected quite easily with reinforced glass and still work perfectly fine.

Basically, what I plan to do is replace the visible marble walls with reinforced stone and extend the bunker so its roof is at the same height as the current enchanting room, with the floor at the same height. We'll need to do some jugging of chests and such, but I want to get ALL our factories and stuff below ground. The ceiling and floor of Bunker 2.0 will be made of construction foam - it resists TNT as well as RefStone does and it quite a bit cheaper to make.

EDIT: Seriously, guys, don't fuck with anything related to Bunker 2.0. I know exactly what we need to do but unless I'm on someone will probably mess things up. Got the visible walls converted to Reinforced Stone - DO NOT REPLACE THE STONE BRICK FACTORIES WITH REINFORCED STONE OR I WILL END YOU. Tomorrow's agenda is ripping up the current floor of the atrium and leveling things out, and beginning to make the CF floor and such. We should have enough room in the new bunker for plenty of storage as well as all the machinery.

So, did they ever get into the bunker?

they can't have stolen that much UU matter as it is immidiatly transported to a locked chest.

replacing the entire out wall with reinforced stone is a bit too much i think. and we have to replace IT ALL, or they will just blow through the part that isn't reinforced.
also, concrete has quite good blasting resistance FYI, and it's cheaper than reinforced stone.(i think)
