when we make that highrise, we should consider the Automatic builder from buildcraft.
you can make a template, then make a blueprint over it, and make a builder copy it over and over.

i can see one very dwarven application of this:
we use this to build in squares like in DF, visible on the minimap as the ASCII symbols.
so when a dorf is ordered to build a wall, he grabs the builder and a wall blueprints, then plops it down. and we'll have a nice wall symbol on the minimap.

when exploring the ocean i came across a temple, that looked like DF on the minimap, i'm not sure if this was intentional.

Cool idea--making a "tileset" of blueprints and pasting them into place.

I wonder if someone could make a mod to allow ComputerCraft to export 3D arrays of BlockIDs into Builder blueprints...
Then self-replicating buildings could theoretically exist...

Got in, moved the coke ovens downwards little bit - the pipes supplying wood to them were getting removed by the growing of the trees every so often.

I gotta ask though, whatever happened to staying hidden?

No idea. When I logged on, our secret bunker had a highway going into it, so I removed the camoflague.

The bunker is basically indestructible anyway.

It's a bug with Technic, you need to go into your %appdata%/.techniclauncher folder and delete "lastlogin", nad don't tell the launcher to remember you.

They're working on it.

EDIT: So, where's all the marble brick and shizz we had?

I brought over some stone brick when i left the first fortress, but no marble. I think that I am still logged out by the old fortress, so I may bring some over tomorrow. I set up a farm and combine plus an automatic crafting bench, but the crafting bench needs the bread pattern and the farm and combine need power, or, they did when I logged off.

Is that the thing in the stonebrick box near the arboretum? I was wondering what that was.

I added a couple more batboxes to the power station. If we can get some more marble, raw marble, over to the bunker that would be great. I'd like to start construction on the tower.

the coke ovens weren't connected correctly to the output.
fixed

i think the coke ovens are a bit too slow, we need another one.
preferably we need something like 6 ovens, to cook the entire output.

We need to think about how we are gonna pipe stuff into our bunker,
as the diamond factory is done, and we need to pipe them into a secure chest.

Teleporter pipes? That way we don't break the walls or anything.

Logged in today to find that I was locked out of most of the chests and was, for some reason, no on the list of bay12ers. (My in game name is tt8989, as I've already said several times). Luckily, I was able to get in the chests for the wires,  and, noticing the bread farm wasn't wired, I took matters into my own hands and wired it myself. I went back to watch the finished product, filling it with seeds, of course, and noticed that someone had added a pipe from the combine directly to the chest, instead of letting it go through the automatic crafting table, and I fixed that, too.
Also, people don't seem to be getting on the steam chat as often.

so, i've been spending over an hour fixing the mess you made tt!
you've drained all our power, through that silly setup.
there is a reason we don't power the power links with our main grid!

the power link constantly draws as much power as it can from whatever source it can find.'
with copper cable this is 32eu/t. it needs about 2 eu/t to function properly, so we are wasting 30 eu/t! on top of that only 4 EU made it in the end, coz of resistance.

please don't wire stuff if you dont know what you'r doing.
and please don't wire stuff already there and wired!

I apologize, I was going to look at the wiring for the other farm to make sure I was wiring it correct, but it was all underground, and I didn't want to tear up the area outside of the fort.
