That looks really, really good.

Do muskets work on Q-suit? Because dispensers take that ammo too.

Nope, Jay? was standing for 10 minutes and musket shot didn't even deplete the armour slightly.

Hey.

One, the base is now really damn ugly with all the oneway doors.

Two, players can make towns now. 35k to found, 2k per plot.

Go grind monies.

Shotguns are useless against quantumsuit armour.

does quantumsuit armour protect against lava or crushing?
you could set a corridor up to block at both ends and flood with magma/drop them into a pool or block at both ends then crush the entire hallway in so they suffocate. i suppose you could put it so it dumps them into water and drowns them when the block closes back over. Unless you fancy enginearing a 20 tile drop instead just to be certain.

Eather way, its a sure fire way of getting rid of folks who trigger the invasion lock down.

You can swim for several minutes in a quantumsuit, and if you crush them they can just do /home or /spawn to escape

So our traps should stress containment (forcing /home) over damage?

Q-suit intercepts whatever subroutine lowers hearts, flashes the interface, plays the hurt noise, etc.? It sounds like it...

Is there ANY form of death or forced relocation (teleport traps?) that does not do these things? If so, it may ignore powered armour...

Do long falls kill regardless of armour?

So our traps should stress containment (forcing /home) over damage?
Unless potions work.

Quantumsuit boots make you immune to fall damage.

I'm starting to dislike IC :P. Does it balance well in SMP?

Nope, Quantum suits are stupidly OP, and once you get one PvP becomes standing in front of someone and waiting for all of their weapons to break so you can beat them to death with a fish or a block of wool or something.

Yeah, limiting it at Nanosuit would be a good idea.

How much damage can a full set of Q-suit absorb anyway? It takes up all the slots, so you can't use add-on power packs, right?

A musket can 1 shot kill an unarmoured person. A nanosuit can absorb a few hundred shots without any visible drain on power.

lets make a mix of traps:
some to kill people without quantum suits,
and some to trap people with quantum suits. sure they can just type /home, but you can't raid while in your own home :)
also: more one way doors!

EDIT: got the rubber tree farm working... no more rubber shortage for us!

This dude's covering the basics if you have time to watch vids/have them running in the BG
Forgot to thank you for this so cheers! Hope he releases more soon as BC was pretty much the only one I had figured out. I played with it a fair bit when making textures for it.
