Hey, i'm not saying you shouldn't walk there, i actually think it's nice to know where the fort is, in relation to the rest of the world.

i'm just saying that you don't have to.

also, i'll be on shortly to invite.

If you need an invite to the faction, PM myself or ank with your Minecraft username and we'll send an invite to you.

I'll be in Florida from the 24th to the 1st, so you best hurry if you want me to invite you.

We have been working on a new front gate bathtub James and I made the frame mechanism and I made the computer controls.
Maunoir has been enlisted to fisnish the other shell of the gate since we agree he is the best artist seeing his work on the tavern and the old broadcasting center.

I already made a good start on the outer shell. If it's no good feel free to replace it of course.

Edit: Just gave Volg the guided tour and we've got his stamp of approval. He wants us to buy another monitor for the inside. Still not sure how to use multiple monitors like that, though.

Ank, I might take you up on the Skype offer sometime :) I do wish people would just meet and talk online, especially since there appears to be a TS server available. Again, everyone doing their own projects doesn't quite scratch that itch of mine for interaction :)

Thanks for the offer!

Fortress currently has 4, count em, 4 airships being built now.

One is a collab with mallcops that will amount to a large mining ship

Two are being made by various players. One is being made by edreak, the other by pops11(ank) and monoffel I believe. Their engines are spread out and seem to not be fully finished.

The last one is being made by me, and will become a small warship of sorts, using a highly condensed frame engine. The engine of this is already done, and I'm currently working on the rp computer control system. I may need some help with programming that in the near future.

The airship mono and me are working on has complete engine room.
Still to finish:
Bridge
Side and front cannons
Bomb bays
possibly mining rig.

As far as i can see there's no real good way to switch monitors on one CPU.

so to accomplish this we'd need 2 CPU's (which really isn't a problem) i'll setup an extra computer for the inside, just running the same program.

@ Anvilfolk pick one thing to learn about tekkit, and then apply it.
this could be RP circuits,
RP computer programming,
Frame engineering,
IC2 mechanics.

hmm, I have a crazy idea, what if you used a monitor attached to a frame motor that switches between two ribbon cables?

Or, you know, just two monitors and two sticky pistons, with a lever on each side to switch between them.

thing is the monitors act funny when you reconnect them.

i have already setup a second computer, so the problem has been solved.
