HEY! Another short notice stream! I've got about an hour and a half, probably, so I'm going to give this stupid Impossible Creatures mission another try. I'm in a good mood, so let's see if a positive outlook and BEATING THEM INTO THE GROUND is enough to win!

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

So I'm thinking we need some more Breath of Fire 3 and there's some time before Soli's Minecraft CTF, so gather around and watch as we... actually I'm not sure. Raise a mutant onion I guess? Maybe return a princess to her parents?

So that was fun. We took the princess back, she escaped again accidentally, we crossed a border and trained up some weakling so he can beat the crap out of some other guy.

Also, join us in Soli's stream for Minecraft CTF!

Pshhhh putting words in my mouth. But yeah, I think in about half an hour I'll be giving Impossible Creatures another go. Feel free to stop by around 8:30pm EDT. Also, Simon Amstell = hilarious and great to have on while cleaning your apartment!

Aww that's sad. Punny times were had and I think we're on the last mission. We have a plan to hopefully survive the waves of sperm whale/ant giants coming at us and... that'll have to happen some other time! Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

Ohh Impossible creatures. Your lack of sequels makes the world cry.

Even if your gameplay can be kinda slow and droning at times (all the time)

Then again... I am not sure who has it worst off

Impossible creatures ended on a high note.

Breath of Fire was outright murdered by horrible sequels.

Careful or I'll get out Dragon Quarter and play through that next. :P

Careful where you tread there....

Breath of Fire III was and always will be the best, but IV and 1/4 had their points. IV had some memorable characters, an excellent combo system, the best fairy village, the best master system, and looked great for a PS1 game, IMO. 1/4 for its part could be brutally hard, dragon form abuse aside- and it did have an intersting setting, art style and a nice battle system. No where near as good as III, but a far cry from horrible.

On a slightly related BoF tangent, my heart jumped for a second when I skimmed this Kotaku article:

http://kotaku.com/5903897/what-unexpected-game-is-capcom-teasing-now

Then of course I remembered that Capcom hates BoF, and that the article was joking.

Ehh It wasn't 4 that killed it.
