Newsflash: if violent games/videos/movies/etc would be as bad as you say (this cretinistic "when this kid will kill someone" line), then half of this planet would be dead already. Do you know how much of violent entertainment was already created and watched in last few thousand years, and especially last few decades? This do not have anything to violence rate in Real Life.
This kind of claims are done most often by old farts with New Media Are Evil syndrome, blaming everyone and everything (except themself, of course) for real or perceived deficiences in society. Bonus points for irony if worldview and ideology of those farts are actually contributing to said deficiences.

So, get off your high horse, Moral Guardian. I do not know what you are doing here anyway, considering how brutal Dwarf Fortress can be.

I'm not against violence in games or even in real life. I'm sure I wouldn't be here today if some ancestor wasn't willing to kill people sometime in history. I'm also not here to introduce legislation. I'm merely stating my opinion that the video is of very little value and why that is. Killing people because it gives you a rush or because you can or because it makes you feel manly is not a healthy fantasy. It's also not at all clever or funny.

The entire content consists of senseless murder, a pile of faceless naked women and zero regard for human life in general, all in the service of the protagonist's base impulses. It is clearly a cry for help from a neglected, self absorbed and disempowered juvenile badly in need of affectionate guidance. What a sad, sad display.

Oh the stereotypes.

Because there is senseless violence, only a young disoriented mind could do it ! Cue most adults, a large part of them with children, in the occidental world who watched Machete, Hobo with a Shotgun, Tokyo Gore Police;  who bought and played Mortal Kombat, BulletStorm, Doom, Grand Theft Auto, Manhunt, God Of War, MadWorld, Silent Hill or Dead Space !

The scenario is but an excuse for a display of maiming : so what ? That's a genre. There are people who like watching that, and there are people who like making that. Who are you to treat them with such condescendance ?
From a technical point of view, the animation itself was good, the lipsync was fine as were the voices. While the choice in camera plans weren't that original, and the humor wasn't subtle, both were enjoyable. Overall yes it appeals to your basic instincts, but it's good.

Plus, not a ad hominem argument here, but looking down on people is usually a sign there is something wrong within yourself. For some, publicly judging something or someone else as valueless helps them feel more valuable because they suffer from such a horrible opinion of themselves. Moreover, their view gaining public approval is a sign they fit in better than they thought an helps how they feel about themselves.

Also, though it might be because I didn't watch it, it seems to me cephalo has at least an ounce of reasoning behind some of his thoughts. It might just be my tendency to want to analyze anything ever created, especially in a psychological way.
