Maybe you should tell us what it is. Maybe give us a link or two.  :)

I guess that answers the question about how many people tried it...
Anyways, it appears to be some sort of action RPG, with the "noted" fantasy author R.A. Salvatore working on the story.

Ugh.. Salvabore? really?

Pass.

Also: Worst opening post ever. Next time include some information about the game and/or a link at least!

Well. He mainly asked if someone tried the demo on Origin or Steam. So why the link?

Because he was opening a thread to discuss a game? Usually when people do so it is considered good form to link to or provide information about that game.

Personally I'd never even heard of it until now.

Added some links/youtube videos.

Battles are amazingly well cinematical. (Are those even words which clash together?)

The game seems to have come straight out of nowhere for me, just noticed that it exists today. Looking forward to trying the demo out on steam later on, and drop an impression on it. Not that many games have published writers on their team, and I do kinda like Salvatore, even though he does have his... moments. Of great stupidity. And frustration. Still, the game looks like it's selling pre-orders pretty well on steam, so it can set a precedent for having celebrity writers behind videogames if this takes off, so there's that at least.

the demo, as i wrote in my blog, has only two problems:
first if you end up with a black screen as soon as you start (aka hear the voices, but don't see the gnomes or anything else) go back to the main menu and lower down everything/deactivate everything.
second, after the "tutorial" you'll only have 45 minutes of playtime and even then, you won't be able to complete above the second quest of the quest chain for the main quest.

Doesn't really hurt them if you couldn't buy it anyway...

It's me that's blocked. Well, Croquantes might be too, but steam distribution seems to be a bit limited in asia(temp. residence)

Nope, still blocked. Downloading the PS3 demo though. Hopefully it'll be finished by the time the game is released. :P
