If the alien is sent out the airlock, it will simply come back in. Locking him in the brig is the only way. You must then all survive until the ship gets here.

Actually.... I have the recorder, which lets me quote Web any time I want.  What benefit would that get us?

In order for someone to be thrown in the brig, they must have the support of the person holding the key and enough green votes to overcome any resistance.

As such, OrangeBottle is now in the brig, since there is no one voting against putting people in the brig or putting someone else in instead. He will be in the brig until the key holder unvotes or something else happens.
