You all find yourself lounging around in the fairly luxurious travel cabin of the Clipper Feynman's Drum. No one aboard really gets the reference - the owner found it hilarious, apparently. The Captain, Webadict, and his marvellous hat both finally emerged from the sealed control room in the front of the vessel and come back to socialise with the passengers - after all, he wasn't just the captain! Once they made planetfall, he'd be leading them on the expedition as well.
He looked around, taking them all in - The young, the old, the bored and the eager. He asked them each their names.
"Dariush" said an older teen, offering a hand of greeting. The Captain took it, and gave it a quick shake.
"Tolyk" said an elderly voice, from the seat behind his. The voice's owner did not rise. A tip of her head was enough, as much as she cared to manage, and the captain tipped his hat back.
"Think0028" said a woman's voice. Mature, but not old - strong, and confident. She sat across the aisle from...
"Toaster" A healthy young man in his late 20s, in rather nice looking clothes. The captain greeted both of them by name, and moved on to the final passenger.
"Orangebottle" Orangebottle's voice was flirty, verging on giggly, and the name was followed by a little dip. A giggle seemed a bit out of place for someone who appeared to be in their early 20s, but the captain gave a little bow back.
"Nice to meet you, Orangebottle. And everyone else as well! I'm sure we'll have a grand trip - let's get to know each other a bit better before we arrive. Here, let me break out the wine!"
It is now Day 0. It will be six "hours" until you arrive at your destination.
The "hour"/day will end in 23 hours, real time.
