I did some community building today!

1: Made a Dorf Garden near spawn bridge
2: Made a stone block house + shed, with an almost-finished brick roof
3: Rebuilt the spawn bridge rail station
4: Filled in some creeper holes with water, making delightful ponds
5: Widened the gravel paths near the spawn bridge and threw windows in a couple buildings

Looking forward to villager-zombies spawning like regular zombies, so we can cure them and get villagers again.

EDIT: And built a max-height tower derrick thing offshore of the spawn beach.

I have finally wrangled my sheep after several pen iterations and I will hate them forever. If only I could create a machine to breed sheep and then automatically burn the lamb in front of them, while keeping the sheep sheared and sliding around on ice, with magma drips falling on them from above and the cacophany of a loaded chicken pen adjacent.

hobobalo did, but I don't exactly know where he is set up.  It's a fair ways out, though.

I hate talking about my path so much, but there are a number of fortresses along the tunnel I dug through the nether. Sorry, no coords. It's +x from the large obsidian construction at one of the spawn portals a very short ways, though.

The tunnel itself is ~2k long and passes by a number of them. Apologies, but I destroyed one blaze spawner that was right above my tunnel. There are a large number of others, though, just not quite so close to spawn.

Just as I return from a Nether jaunt to get blaze rods.

So is it just me, or are there really only a couple worthwhile potions? I'm thinking Swift and Splash Harm.

EDIT: Oh right. Made a melon farm behind Bitterwell Fort yesterday, in memory of Jeffry.

We're vanilla. Of course stuff would have more or less value in a modded server. For example, if there were boss monsters (not counting the dragon) around, weakness splash or slow splash would be a good idea.
