Is there a way to make creepers not destroy stuff? I am fine with being killed, but having important bits blown up and of course only like half of what they blow up actually drops... It gets old.

The only mods I can find to do that are for Bukkit, and bukkit is still only available for version 1.0.

NerfGriefingMobs for Minecraft 1.1

A quick Google turned this up. I remember using it for 1.0, though I don't know if you can disable the mob nerfs individually. The description seems to suggest you can, worth a try.

It seems random. It's most busy during the weekends, of course.

It's like grinding, except it's productive (and creatively challenging)!

Sounds awesome, could it host my dwarven invasion?

Anyway, count me in!

What is XP?

It's used for enchantments.

Tonight we will update to the latest snapshot. You may need to download it.

We will have to reset the map, but after that, we should be good.

The server is up and running with the latest dev screenshot. You may need to update to connect.

The good news is that this map is permanent. We will keep it for the entire forseeable future. And jungles are in. If you'd like to build, just head out from the spawn until just out of sight of it first.
