Yeah, 1.3.2 is out.

PTTG says we're updated.

I was booted when it happened. I feel like I'm part of something.

When what happened?

Also, PTTG should be gone for the next couple of weeks, so if you need assistance with something on planehacked, I'll do my best to help (though I'm more than happy to do that anyways).

We could organize something as players. Set up a dungeon or arena, have everyone sleep in the beds and then kill themselves to show they don't have inventory, everyone goes into the arena, someone locks the door behind. Arena is surrounded by obsidian walls and ceiling with a few layers of other stuff like grass and buildings. Hidden tools and supplies throughout. If everyone chipped in on obsidian collection, one person could build it and run the event so nobody knows where the treasure is.

Trouble is, with a low server population, can we get a good dozen people to play at once? Otherwise it might end up being just a couple folks.

I'd be interested in a semi-collaborative, organic structure: A tower town.  We pick a plot of land and just build up from there, keeping things as vertical as possible as we build up, up, up!  Preferably using a variety of materials and small sections of tower stacked haphazardly on top of each other rather than just a straight pillar.

My current home on the server tries to emulate this, but I'm just one guy and  mining cobble all day is dull. It still looks neat though, and making a farm hugging the side of a wall is interesting.

I actually really, really like that idea.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Which town are you dwelling in, Rhodan?  Because that sounds pretty interesting to me too.

This also sounds cool to me. Rhodan is pretty close to the spawn village anyway.

My home kind of emulates that, but replace towers with trees. I've currently got four jungle trees under my control.

I live due north from spawn. Just follow the coastline for a bit and you should spot my almost-tower.  There's torches along the way, and someone plopped down a neat little shelter nearby too.

Just a note, terrorists will attack the World Trade Center by flying passenger aircraft into it on September 11th 2001.

I promised myself I would say that if I got a chance to speak to someone in the 1990's.

(sorry)

Don't tell anyone that you can see their shadows. If they hear you telling anyone, if you let them know that you know of them, they will get you.

Not funny in the slightest.

The reason I have dial-up is due to the fact that my house in a complete dead zone of high-speed internet.  What really kicks me is the fact that my neighbor (used to) have high-speed internet, and he is 30ft to my house's left, and 5 ft higher up.

you know what you need to do.

make a pole, 5 feet higher, and 30 feet to the left.

bonus points for making it out of a single kitten.

I feel like I should sig that.
