Hm. I guess the 'mostly true' means that more than half of the statements are true, so Jack isn't the mod.

Also, IMO it would've been much more productive to check the validity of the statement along the lines of 'X, Y and Z are of the same aligment', but well, too late now.

Don't really have time do much right now, sorry.  I haven't really had time to do much for the past couple days.

I've just asked Darvi what exactly made my post "mostly true", if anything.  The "I am the mod" thing I added because, in asking him whether just saying "I am town" would count as true, he said that that's only sort of true because I'm miffed town AND I am the mod.

Yes, I'm Derpy.

Or maybe it's mostly true because he's not really Town, but Cult? Why does the mod statement make it mostly true, as opposed to anything else?

I interpreted "Mostly True" as "The gist and intent of the message are true, but there are some minor quibbles that make it not 100% true."  If you interpret it as "All but one of the facts are true," then I suppose you could be right- though since that would make everything bolded in the below quote false...

My alignment is Miffed Town: I'm basically a townie, and win the same way as the rest of the town, but I have an extra possible wincon: if everybody is dead, I win.

I am the mod.

When inspected, I show up as Cult Leader.

...I would be hard pressed to call that "mostly true."


I'm going to tentatively believe it for now, so we can focus on more important things like lynching scum (Dariush.)

"So, can I smash him now?", Derpy inquires.
"No objections here", Victor replies. The rest of the players either shrugs or shakes their head.
"Like hell you will!", James shouts. He tries to pummel Derpy, who swiftly dodges.
"Attempting to physically harm the mod. I think that's reason enough to ban you."

PolyC asks: "... so was he a mafiabot or not?"
"Well of course not", Derpy answers. "You could tell from the insults that he was clearly Eghbali, using James' account."
"But if you knew he wasn't-"
"Hey, you guys voted  for him. Who am I to decide who gets lynched and who not? Anyway, I'm out."


Dariush has been banned. He was James Coolguy, townie.


The night ends on monday.

Derpy falls on his knees. In front of him is a cream-coloured puddle.
"Noooooooooooooo!!!"
"Is that who I think it is?", Victor asks.
"Yes. These are the remains of PolyC." Derpy puts his finger into the puddle and licks it. "Hmm. Deli-*spit* EURGH! It's like somebody rubbed a piece of coal into it or something." He stands up.
"Well look who's devasted at the loss of his BFF", Applebottle remarks sarcastically.
"Meh, 's not like he won't be back in a few days. Let's get back to business, okay?"
