After reading Wuba's post on the psychological aspect (which can actually go both ways ) I think it's town and scum hopping on for random reasons, possibly going after an easy lynch.
I was wondering why I was the only town, at first.

Nah, statistically it's who is awake/online at the game start, and more likely to be town than scum unless we have a really odd game.

Because everyone knows scum would never join a quicklynch bandwagon like this.

It's simple: The scum would be too concerned about image to join the bandwagon, and therefore ask for some kind of reasoning or anything, really. Of course, now that I've explained it, it no longer works, but everyone currently on the bandwagon is significantly less likely to be scum.

It's like I'm the only one with a knack for human psychology, really.

But, I've got enough people to not worry about now, so we can either continue this for the pressure on TolyK or start responding.

So I don't really see what what you were doing was supposed to prove.

You're just saying that because you didn't jump on the bandwagon in time.

And your logic is flawed. you're saying that town would never jump on a quicklynchwagon, but then you are assuming that anyone that jumped on the wagon is scum. This, quite frankly, is nearly and almost utterly impossible. Unless you're assuming that all of those on the bandwagon are scum, your logic has failed you. And that must be the case.

Likely, anyone that has voted for this wagon is not scum, since they would be too concerned for their image to do such a thing. Therefore, I can deduce that we are dealing with very stupid scum (something that is unlikely), or that the people on the wagon are significantly less likely to be scum (I'd say about 70% less likely than any other player not on the bandwagon).

It's simple psychology, and I'm surprised no one thinks like scum here. You'd probably be more apt to win if you did.

That's why it only works until someone says that it works. Then it doesn't work. Again, you're just upset you didn't make it in time.

The scum definitely did not think it would make them look town, because they were thinking not about what would make them look town, but about what would make them not stand out. You don't need to look town to win as scum. You need to be alive. Learn the difference.

Why should I unvote TolyK? There hasn't been a good reason to, and you've shown concern over my voting for him without addressing your own suspect. Tell me, Jimbo, how's the scumhunting going for you? What makes you think I'm not scumhunting when your vote for Andrew elicits basic responses, and forces you to use valuable time bolding names instead of, say, talking to a wall? At least mine found people I can assume are more likely town than not.

Let me tell you something, Jam. I'm pretty sure you don't really know anything about what scum do. If you did, you would've seen the pure brilliance of my plans. The subtleties that you miss... I think you don't appreciate them. I can but throw my arms up in defeat, as bested I have been. Lemons fall from the sky, punishment for the woes I beset upon humanity with my shenanigans.
