Shermanville, IL, March 14, 2016

Our journey starts in an abandoned suburban house. Over the past few days, a group of people have come to this safe house from various directions.

Everyone wakes up at 6:30 to a normal March day. Normal, if it wasn't for the whole zombie situation. The group has scavenged the house, and is in possession of the items they have found. A rundown of the house:

Kitchen is a one-windowed room in the front of the house. It has various cupboards, and a non-functioning refrigerator.

Living Room is located past the hallway from the Kitchen. It has 3 chairs, a couch, a broken glass table, a non-functioning T.V. and an old grand piano.

Dining Room is at the back of the kitchen. All that is left of it is a table and 5 chairs.

Bathroom is down the first-floor hallway. It has a non-functioning toilet, tub and a medicine cabinet.

Garage is at the back, accessible through a door between the Dining Room and Living Room. It just is mainly litter, but has a non-functioning treadmill. The electronic door to outside does not work.

  2nd Floor Rooms:

Upstairs Bathroom: First room upstairs, it is identical to the one downstairs.

Den: A bit farther down is the Den, which looks like it had a now gone desktop computer. Books are strewn about on the floor, mostly on the usage and legality of different medications and drugs.

Bedroom is the last room. It is pretty much stripped besides a bed. There is an empty walk in closet.

Back Yard can be reached by a door in the living room. It is surrounded with a chain-link face, besides that it is just grass.

Front Yard is the same deal without a chain-link fence. It has a mailbox.

Basement door can be found in the hallway, but it is locked.

No zombies can be seen at the moment, but the group's food supply is running low. Only a day's worth of fruit, beef jerky and potato chips remain. What do you do first?

---------

Game Master Mode: So, all characters can take individual action, but the group decides on a whole for it's activities. Whether you guys establish a dictator system or a democracy is up to yourselves.

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

> M. Groff: Examine Treadmill, and see if it can still be fixed.

> Legion Fredrickson: break down the door to the basement, inspect what's inside.

> Legion Fredrickson: join Groff's party. Request to use the bat, since he's obviously the most experienced soldier from the bunch.

M. Groff: The treadmill is still in condition to be repaired, although to work it would also need electricity or an alternate source of power.

Legion Fredrickson: Legion manages to break down the door with repeated baseball bat smashing. He sees stairs, but the lack of light prevents him from seeing anything down there.

What about that scavenging party?

> Legion: try to search the basement blind. Drag anything with interesting shape out in the corridor and inspect it there.

Groff: Approach Scavenging Party members, and tell them before we can go, I must check if there's a half-broken car with some functional car batteries.

After that, signal them to begin the scavenging.

>Olaf searches the den for a book detailing the usage and dosage of common medicines, then joins Greg in searching the bathrooms.

>Olaf takes one of the kitchen knives.

((We should be careful about the basement; if it is locked, there could very well be zeds down there, possibly relatives of one of the owners, or even worse, the entire family.))

Scavenging party will go out whenever everyone wants to go I gues.

-------

Legion shuffles about the dark corridor. No lights, so he just sort of stumbles. Nothing he can find yet besides some refuse.

Greg searches the cabinets, but alas everything that could have been of use has been taken already.

Groff tells everyone to start scavenging, while he will go to look for some car batteries.

Olaf gets Household Drugs: A Basic Guide and a Kitchen Knife. Similarly to Greg, he does not find anything of use in the bathrooms.
