Ouch. They have mobs dealing 3 MP worth of damage? That is really strong damage for any monster to have. Given that you said it is the starter field even more so. Eesh.

No, they don't do MP damage, they just slap you with an effect that stops you from locking or moving. As far as I can tell, this is their basic attack. Go to the Amanka fields (The ones in the pick-a-nation area) and initiate combat with a Rose enemy. Without a decent ranged attack or some SERIOUS luck, they'll keep broadsiding you from three squares away until you fall over. I've lost several battles because a Rose managed to get lucky with their attacks for a few turns.

Wonder if you can get around that with a proxy. I know Wakfu's launcher comes with some sort of proxy stuff. Not sure if it's purely for the update server or what though.

Hmm, yeah. I know when I played the EU one it let me play on an EU server, but only if I'd registered my account on the EU website. Maybe that's what you guys need to do? Make sure you're registering on the site that has NA in the URL?

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

I got into this last night. It looks really cool because the classes seem unique, and it's also sparked my interest in Fire Emblem.

Woaaahhh suddenly a burst of people.

And yeah I really have no idea how people are getting "assigned" as far as servers go, I did link the NA website in the OP though so I somehow doubt that's all there is to it, since mattie prolly signed up on the NA website. Anyway.

Adding all of you to the OP, will look at making a guild with my enutrof, Urist, for B12, as my Iop is currently in a friend's guild. Any guild name suggestions?

Also as a note, we can have a "cross nation" guild. Getting to other nations is kind've a pain, but that's possible too, although you're fairly restricted in other countries. Specifically you need 5 kamas and some canoon powder which can take some time to get together.

Oh god I am so confused.

Cile Gimp Sacrier What Nox

I have no idea what is going on. I have a rage bar, but I can not understand what it does other then fuel a ability that is way worse then just hitting people. Also I have a ability that does more damage, but hurts me as well. But I get healed fully when every fight ends, so that seems less then hurtful.

Oh god what now I am talking to a Panda with bamboo stuck up his bum

"Amphibious Dwarfhumpers". Or just Dwarfhumpers.

Maybe "Bloody Dwarfhumpers". That'd be a good one.

There's midgets in this game, right? If named so, we could cluster awkwardly around them and make horrible double entendre. Maybe every other Tuesday or something.

@Criptfeind: Yeah, sacrier's also need a bit of tweaking, BUT the gist is that when leveled up, your earth skills are going to do more damage. Your fire skills are going to damage you and build up angrr. As a result, your fire skiills will often be a much higher level then your earth skills, and will do more damage. BUT wh en earth skills catch up ages from now they will do more damage.

You could also avoid all that and just go with the air tree that specializes in battlefield manipulation (moving other units, jumping across the map in a single bound, etc)

Annnd Gremligems are in the gremligem inventory that they never tell you how to get to. :P

Go to your inventory, click on the gremlin (It's below your dude in the left side of the interface), then click "personalize gremlin). There'll be three tabs and some equip slots for gremlins. Click through the tabs and you should find it.

I'll be making the guild tomarrow! Leaning towards slaves to armok but if there's a huge outcry for another name I'll prolly go with that.

Actually, looking at it, it seems punishment (a fire skill) is always going to be my strongest skill, with my starting fire skill being second place to every skill but the highest level earth one. Although punishment uses WP, so I guess I can not always use that?

Anyway, yeah. It seems a little borked right now. Although I wonder how they could screw up such a simple system. Fire skills weak but make anger, earth strong but take anger. How hard is that? Also air skills... I dunno. I guess I am suppose to be a tank? So if I ever actually get in really big battles with lots of people on both sides air would be useful? Although right now it seems pretty worthless.

Also there seems to be way to many skills way to fast. Although maybe that is just how these types of MMOs go... I would honestly like to have to actually unlock the higher level skills (by leveling up? Perhaps.) then just get a level on the skill below it. As it is now soon I will have unlocked every skill and then every battle will be the exact same thing... Over and over. So many god damn skills. Mostly worthless.

One more thing, Fire, Air, Earth... What happened to water?

Presumably your class doesn't get water spells. I started a Feca character, who lack Air. Maybe all classes only get 3/4 elements?

Speaking of Feca, it took me forever to learn their convoluted magic system. I can place Glyphs or Armour any adjacent square, and each spell has 3 effects - one regular cast-on-enemy type effect, an effect that targets anyone beside the Glyph (after you cast it on a glyph), and a buff or debuff effect if you cast it on armour. Unfortunately, the Glyph and Armour effects are unimpressive, take an extra turn to set up, and last a very short time. Heal 1% of HP per round until I take 3 hits? Not actually that useful :[

Game seems cool, but I'm still undecided. I'll have to try partying-up and see if it's more fun.

The Cra seem to have underwhelming damage.

I mean, With a chokepoint and a couple beacons I can derp around and kill everything but still.
