List of Fortress Mode Features in this coming patch!

With the new patch incoming (hopefully) in the next 30 days or so, I would like to get a list going of what the new features/big bug fixes are for Fortress mode. Not that I don't like adventure mode (I am excited to give it a real go this patch) but I love the fortress mode.

1. Vampires will attempt to hide secretly in your fortress.
2. Justice system now requires a "witness" to declare the death of a dwarf, otherwise they have gone "missing".
3. It can rain blood in terrifying biomes!
4. New hit-point system for undead (I think).
5. Designating across Z levels (That is an awesome one!)
6. Historical Figures being migrant dwarves!
7. Necromancers assaulting your fortress!
8. Dwarves from previous fortresses/retired adventurers migrating to yours. (That is damn cool)
9. Syndromes can now actually alter structure of a creature (were-diseases). (Mod in extra-limbs radiation anyone?)
10. Large gems/gem items are now stored properly (I didn't know this one, AWESOME too hear)
11. Auto-zombification of fallen creatures in some evil biomes, better apply liberal amounts of magmacin to your dead dwarves.
12. Iron added to the materials list under weapons stockpiles.
13. No more material mandates, such as slade earings! Silly nobles.

Add what you know! Might as well get myself pumped up for release.

*Edit* Keep'm coming! I'll try to keep the list as updated as possible. Well, up to 12 13 so far.

Necromancers.

Designating across Z-levels.

And, one of my personal favorites, migrant dwarves being historical figures.

EDIT: Also, being able to have adventurers and dwarves from abandoned forts migrate to your current fortress. Definitely gonna love that.

EDIT: Also, being able to have adventurers and dwarves from abandoned forts migrate to your current fortress. Definitely gonna love that.

training some (a lot) adventurers to immensely strong super warriors and hope they migrate to your fort.... Abandoning a fort and in the next fort find the former baron as imigrant.... sweet revenge, privy cleaning duty

Syndromes may now actualy alter the body structure of a creature vi weres.

In terms of major bug fixes large gems and gem items will be storeable again.

I have a dragon trapped in a cage trap somewhere in my fortress.

It would make a mean zombie, or worse, skeletal.

Let's not forget the Mists of Fun (cursed mists are gonna be awesome)

Or the "enhanced experience" when breaching the HFS...which I think uses the same mechanic.

I heard somewhere that the "vortices of purple light" and/or "dark clouds" in the Hidden Fun Place might make an actual appearance. Not entirely sure where I heard it though.
