Never played on Easy.

Either I make it to Last Stand and win, or I die halfway. The only time I kill-off crew is the times when I meet Slug Interceptor, cuz, well. Slug Interceptor :P

Huh, well, you've been either very lucky or very unlucky - I've had a number of games end in sector 8 because I hadn't upgraded enough and my ship just couldn't take on the Flagship, or was crippled by the elite fighters you run into in sector 8.

edit: think the most 'fun' one I had recently was the Stealth Ship Type B. Got to 8 with a Glaive Beam, Halberd Beam... and a small bomb. Interesting note: a small bomb, by itself, will never take the Flagship below 3 shields, since as soon as it's hurt four crew will run over and fix it before you can recharge the bomb.

Same. I have died once or twice on the boss, but not for a very long time.

Only times I've died on the boss was a) the first time I've met him and b) the one goddamn time I just could NOT catch up to him before he got to the base for the last fight.  Damn lack of a hull repair drone and no more missiles (and the lack of missiles meaning I had no way to pierce his shield, not the greatest build really) meaning I had to stop at a resupply point badly.

I was hoping I could catch him by waiting at the base, but apparently that is not possible. :(

But yeah, generally, if I can get to the boss, I can beat the boss. (doesn't mean I WILL, of course) I may not have everything I want, but I'll probably have everything I need. And I usually don't use boarders.

Actually, you DON'T want to kill the whole crew. Have you met the boss? That's... bad. It does enter a special mode.

I've killed the crew twice now and don't notice anything that different.  I only kill em near the end of phase 2 though.  I'm guessing the AI acts like a gold specialty crewmember on all stations?

Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

Not sure if gold, since I can't see exact stats, but something. And worse is the fact that it can simultaneously repair every station on the ship, which is more than the crew could do before. For those with slow-burn ships and boarder ships rather than assault ships, that's a big deal.

You didn't get /any/ message when you killed off the last crewmember?

No I got the message.  I just never saw the effect it had besides the repairing.(Though on my last run I saw the super shield suddenly pop back up in phase 3, where I hadn't seen that happen before.  That fight went a little slower though due to the first missile volley)  I had decent firepower and boarders so it would always get destroyed fairly quickly before anything really apparent happened.  The repair time seems to be rather slow too.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

I got 41xx or something like that points in the today's run, it's my highest. As far as I looked at FTL forums, highest scores ever around 5000+.

5000-5400 is my highest, don't remember exact number. I'll check later.

That was on one of the runs where I failed to beat the boss, too... :(

I've honestly got no idea what determines points.

My best is a 4078 one-HP win in a Zoltan Cruiser. It's my only win so far.

Closest runner-up is a boss loss with a Federation Cruiser, valued at 3910.
