Escaping battle is a perfectly valid strategy. :P

Although you did give me an interesting idea for a tourney mode.

Note to self:

Do not, under any circumstances, use boarders to take out the last pip of an enemy's hull. Even if you've just run out of missiles. Especially if you just used your crystal crewman (whose ship you still need to unlock) to do it.

Hahaha.

I actually had to do that with the boss on my boarders-only win. Sacrifice a crew member per form.

You don't sacrifice crystals though. ;)

Is the rock ship good for boarding? Because I'm liking the fact that the medbay is the room over from the teleporter.

And so the adventure of the USS Orange Juice came to an end. I figured I was doomed anyway; I had incredibly bad luck and only ever found one store that sold weapons (and had very little scrap thanks to constant repairs) and only ever found a Heavy Laser I. Only two of my crew were the ones I started with, everyone else who was remotely good died. About the only thing going for me was the Weapon Pre-Igniter. It wasn't near enough.

They let you see how many bars the enemy puts into each system, but otherwise confer no advantages over Lv2 sensors.
And it doesn't work against the flagship.

Note to self: Fire will still destroy a already looted/de-crewed ship, with your mantis boarding squad on it.

Ayup. Surrended ship will still receive damage from fires, so room will go to red state, but the fires stop spreading. Dunno if bug, or feature.

If you have 8 crew, you can march your secondary boarders into the teleport room. then when you teleport your boarders back, the wounded automatically land in medbay.

I don't want to alarm you but I think your ship is haunted.

Disappeared is another word for leaving them to rot in an enemy ship or accidentally blowing one up with them on board without noticing...
