Quickly weighing your options, you come up with several plans for dealing with the current situation.
Punch dinosaur in snout to establish superiority.
"I am your master now!"
SHOOT AT ITS FEET MAKE IT DANCE
Establish superiority.
You think about taking a running start toward the dinosaur and punching it in the snout, but then realize that: 1) Your leg is burned, so you can't even walk, nevermind run; 2)
Especially jump; 3) Even with both healthy legs the dinosaur is far too tall for you to get to it's head.
If that doesn't work shoot it.
You aim your pistol once again, this time being careful not to miss. You pull the trigger... And hear a click. The indicator on the pistol's back says 'Charges remaining: 0/1. Please recharge.' Dumbfounded, you stare at the message. A pistol that can only make a single shot? What were you thinking when you bought it?!
feed it its old master. without using your physical hands.
Plan C is made to take care of both problems at once, by feeding one problem to the other. However, picking the strange alien up, chasing the dinosaur and force-feeding it the carcass is hardly an option. So, you mentally command the animal to come back and eat up. Surprisingly, that works and the dino slowly starts to trot back.

Bad headache;
When it comes back, it starts thoughtfully chewing the strange alien's corpse.>Feed it acidic leaf.
Not one to stop at half-measures, you throw the broken leaf on the ground near the corpse. You decide not to risk further commanding the dino to prevent your headache from worsening even further, so you hope that the dinosaur will eat it on it's own initiative.
You have to wait for some time for it to finish with it's old master, but finally it chomps the leaf down in one bite, chews for a bit and finally swallows. For several seconds it just stood there, looking at you with doggy eyes, but then it's eyes cloud over, rumbling emits from it's stomach and finally the dinosaur vomits the contents of it's innards out. You can see the crushed shape of the alien's body, the chewed leaf and more half-digested remnants. The dinosaur starts wobbling from side to side, apparently not entirely free from the leaf's effect yet. At your feet lie the contents of it's stomach. You can only sag back onto the ground and think about your present situation.
