Sorry.

"So, if you need me, I will be at ten whitechapel road".

Cough loudly, get the captain to notice, then walk away.

'Course with Dwarf Fortress, the only relevant question is, "How far away will the ASCII gibs splash on landing?"
5 squares per limb, if you raise the north orthoclase bridge before sacrificing one of them so they have a straight shot to the bottom of the chasm.

Damn it, I was going to update today but accidentally deleted the update when it was nearly finished.
I'll probably redo it tomorrow.

I don't see why not. As for job and inventory ,  let's just pretend you were in the time machine from the beginning, but haven't done anything useful yet.
So you'll just do what everyone else did and pick 2 items. I'll let you in next turn( Not the turn I'm writing up now(and that should have been done quite some time ago) but the next one)

Turn 4: A mystery unveiled

Takes mystery dangergun and proceeds to threaten imaginary enemies with it under the influence of lovley drugs. I dont want to shoot anything really, just scare tose nasty looking flying things away...
[6] You manage to grasp the mystery gun. However as you clumsly grasp the gun you accidently pull the trigger.[4] The gun fires some sort of broad, slow shockwave, that [6](Since your trying not to kill anyone, this is an inversed aiming roll)[2](damage roll) destroys what remained of the towers clockwork. The roar of the gun and the sound of the mechanisms bending and breaking under the pressure is heard thourough the city. The tower is still structurally safe and is nowhere near collapsing. However some of the debris seems to have blocked the stairs.

Luckly for you, it seems that the blast shook you out of your hallucinations and back into reality.

(Note: 1 power cell was used)

((The unknown device is not in my inventory, and the items in my first aid kit are still in the crate.))

"Stop that, you're going to get us all killed!"

I stop Rhys from getting us all killed by waving dangerous weapons around.
[5] You try to stop Rhys but he gets hold of the weapon and fires it before you can anything. You do manage to get behind cover in time. Luckly the shockwave doesn't hit anyone and instead destroys the clock's clockwork.

The guards on the airships are stunned by the damage the gun does and forget to fire or jump onto the tower. They are within firing and boarding range however and are demanding your surrender.

Refurbish my weapon with my findings, then head down with Shaun.
[1] You fail to do anything. Probably because someone just blew quite a large part of the tower.

Try to convince the guards that Hilda's story is true, having (hopefully) arrived early enough to hear it.

If I don't arrive early enough to hear it, try to distract the guards so Hilda can escape.

[1] You too, are stunned by the sonic wave, and fail to go downwards.

"Good Sir, when Her Majesty hears about this, she's gonna bust yo ass back down to Private! Blast and damn. Let's go."

Get on the coach. Attempt escape if a good opportunity presents itself.
[5] You gratiously get into the coach whitout the captain even noticing. Probably because the captain is focusing on the dustcload being blown out of the clocktower.

"So, if you need me, I will be at ten whitechapel road".

Cough loudly, get the captain to notice, then walk away.
[4] You easily get away now that the captain's attention is focused elsewhere.

"Well, at least now no-one will forget what time we showed up in this universe. Those guys seriously suggesting we will surrender when I have this in my hands, and 2 spare heavy weapons to boot? Someone stall them while I find a good spot to shoot from..."

Look to find a good concealed spot to lay down some serious fire on the most important looking airship. Suggest others take the rocket launcher and rail gun and do similar for other airships.

There are 2 airships: One armed with carronades(dangerous, short range cannons) and one armed with clockwork soldiers.
Also, if you want to have more information about the mysterious gun, spend a turn looking at it. For now the only thing you know is that it has quite a lot of complicated looking buttons.

Ok...

Investigate my new fave weapon, before doing all the above. The craft with the carronades would be my first choice of target...

Let the coach drive on, and once it gets to a quiet area, call for the driver to stop. Presumably he is sitting on top of the coach.

Oh. I thought the driver was also instructed by the captain regarding where to go. In that case, ask him to take a quiet route to the Crystal Palace.

(will the driver do what I say, or is he doing as the Captain wants?)

The Crystal palace was build in 1851. We seem to have some temporal misaligments here. 2 turns ago we were talking about Napoleon and now  we're halfway the 19the century.
I thought it was the year 1814.

Temporal misalignments are fun.
Anyway, I'll hitch a ride with lawa.

Sprint and get into the carriage, ordering the driver to take us to the Science museum, threatening him with force if he doesn't obey. Try to keep him from alerting the captain.

I didn't think it was 1814, I just thought that, well, the British and the French quite enjoyed fighting each other, so why not. Tell an Englishman* you've just been fighting the French and he will probably think highly of you. I thought it was the most plausible and most convincing story at the time. Anyway, I think Big Ben dates from 1869.

*A 19th century Englishman, of course.

Tomato, we can go wherever, I wasn't totally going to try and either seduce/smash over the head the driver once we got down a quiet back alley.
