Turn 9 : Off we go

((We're all going to die next turn. Hoping the airconditioner keeps our corpses cool enough.[/pessimistic]

Just to poke: incendairy  :P, couldn't help but mentally imagine burning milk rockets. No offense meant. Also, wow. Adrenaline can make me twist Titanium.))

Tyrin hand gestured his thanks at Edward after finishing his work. It was getting really smoky here. It was good most of the party in this floor was near the floor, or even the dense fumes wafting overhead would kill them. There needed to be a miracle to save them now. They couldn't escape without leaving others behind. One person, he thought, should be manning the Time panel, just incase something drastic would occur.

He felt his strength ebb. The painkillers worked their wonders, but he wondered if he would be alive to feel the pain later on. Also, there needed to be someone to operate his work.

Crawl inside Time Machine.

Operate Air Conditioning.

Sigh audibly while trying to not look demoralized.

[5] Skill up. Airconditioning Operator. The inside of the T.M. is cleared quickly off all the smoke.

Dont open eyes until we arrive wheneverthewhereverthehell we end up, as I could really do with not seeing the inside of a blach hole or somesuch.
[1] You open your eyes and look out of the window. Never knew the inside of a black hole was so smokey. Oh wait, we're still in London.

Get back into the T.M safely with my Jetpack.
[1] You come a bit to close to the fire when flying your jetpack.( Second degree burn wounds gained)

Fly over the time machine at a height great enough to avoid the mass of flames and smoke, and then lower and attach enough cables to it to safely hold it under the airship so that if Big Ben burns and falls the time machine will be safely suspended in the air with everyone on board.

Someone below try if possible to aid with attaching our cables to the time machine!

Then when it jumps, the time machine can tow the airship through time!

This cannot go wrong!
[4+1+1-1(fire)] You hold the ship stable over the tower and down bellow people are working on attaching the cables.

> Attempt to keep the smoke away from our eyes while we figure out a destination. Help attach cables to the time machine from the airship

[3] You manage to attach some of the cables. The connection doesn't seem to be very stable though.

Help Lawa, but make sure to get into time machine before we go time jumping.
[5] You jump down the tow ladder and attach the remaining cables. Skill gained: Victorian age cargo clamps fastening. After you 've done that you jump into the Timemachine

Prepare to push the button to jump, either when everyone gets on board or just before it would be too late.
[6] You slam the button just as the tower begins to crumble.

[97] Your arrival is perfect. The Zeppelin is perfect state and gently touches down in a forested hill. It's a dark night and you suspect nobody has seen you yet. You can see the lights of a city in the distance. From the smell of the salt you guess you are somewhere near the coast. You feel calmed by this peacefull place...
But then, Several lights light up in the sky. Alarms are shouted inside the city, there's seems to be a whole lot of panic. Flares rise up in the air over the city. It's just enough for you to catch a glimp of the beasts in the sky. They seem to be rather large, the largest as big as your zeppelin, and scaly. People are dropping things from their backs. You wonder what they are untill the first on hits the ground. A loud explosion deafens your ears. Soon the bombardement is going on at full strength and fireballs are raining down upon the town . Some of the dragons are hit by the returned fire, but most of them shrug it off.

Then a second wave comes in. ( Note, you're close enough to get to the town in one turn, and far enough to be safe from the bombardements). Also, welcome to High fantasy World War II.

I think your quoting went a bit wrong.

Er, I am currently transporting the time machine under my airship. Where shall we go? Also, someone needs to neutralise those stokers... And then stoke. We could do with some kind of overarching goal. I quite fancy getting the airship strengthened with some kind of enchantment but that's all I have to suggest.

"Well, that went rather well. Everyone back in the nick of time!" Tyrin checked the destination on the panel as he pushed himself up after cranking the handle of the Air Conditioning. "Woah, High Fantasy and World War II? I wonder which side will win this time..."

In the distance, dense smoke could be seen, visible in the night by the fires below and the moon above. "Should we help them? I think we should."

Thank Edward Johnson

Knowing my tinker cooldown is now gone...

Modify the prototype laser rifle to be added onto the T.M. as an automated turret!

Try to give it Solar Panels to compensate for the power usage, by using the deactivated clockwork guard!

Pick up that Blunderbuss and accompanying materials.

"Just a note, I've modified the Rockets to turn incendiary. No special explosions, but the heat will burn just like those dragons over there!"

"Oh goody. World War IV was worse, and we all know it." Shaun winced slightly as his wounds were dressed. "Meanwhile, I know this jetpack... Older model, before I was head of research. I worked on it a bit... Time to see if I can find any fuel for it, so I don't run out any time soon.

Figure out what the other random gadget is, then take stock of what building/construction materials are lying around, to see if I can fabricate either a module to attach to the jetpack to allow it energy-based flight (meaning it either can use less or no fuel, but has recharging like the T.M, or fly normally using fuel) or to see if I can fabricate a magnetics-based grappling hook.

Because building is boss.

(I can do that right? :D)
