Come to think of it, this dungeon is a lot like my DF fortresses. The corpses from earlier would have been situated in the barracks...

Oh gods. I'm going to have to deal with a thermodynamic catsplosion...

I'd hate to enter a fight against my best Champion. Also, Vampire Hydras are the bane of elite dwarven soldiers; they can dismember Champions even when they are clad in full Masterwork Adamantine.

There goes the twist ending...

The magma lever was probably what caused the catsplosion.

Since I am a vampire, when I'm at high fullness(80% and above) will I recover naturally?
Also, since it's just a random dungeon, may I inquire what kinds of enemies and rewards Chaos and I can expect? Please tell me we can expect more of those worthless cat things.

Everyone recovers naturally, just slowly. You'll recover fast than most regardless though.

You should obviously expect Demons, and as for rewards: I choose it randomly, so I can't really say until it happens.

'Cat Things'?..

Those things you used force level Chaos. For some reason I call them cat things, even though I always picture some kind of deformed monkey when I try to picture them.

I'd say you're probably picturing them 'properly'
You might see them, on the second level (It's a 3 level dungeon), but expect them in very large swarms.

Unless you level them up to match the highest level, swarms should be within reason to fight.

No, I don't do that. But if you let them surround you you're fucked anyways, you probably couldn't have noticed with the fight, but with every subsequent hit they score on you, they have a higher max-damage potential.

You took the poison damage Melritch.

So did I invoke rule 1 or was this planned all along? :P

Hold on... Ignoring Melritch's lack of a bloodstream, how come my Elemental took no poison damage, yet Melritch did?

Well, by level two of the dungeon, I'll have hopefully leveled up and picked up a bow, so if I plan ahead, I can probably shake off the number difference fairly well with summons and ranged attacks.
