It happens...

Deep inside, I just wish there was some sort of major quest goal that would affect mostly everyone in the current world. Vague at first, but becoming apparent later on.

Ah well, dreams of an adventurer.

Question for GM: Will moving towards the light place me in my reanimated body, or should I wait for Azthor to officially do a ceremony or something?

Sadly, creating a Death Knight does require a ritual. It is one of the truly high-end undead templates (Death Knight, Dracolich, Vampire Lord and Lich->Demilich). As a matter of fact, the only reason Melritch will bother raising you as one, is because he is nuts. He is also sufficiently insane to enchant your whole suit of armor, rejoice!

A question: will I eventually be able to create my own spells?

Yes.

Q: Does realistic biology end up in the game? I'm currently bleeding out from knife and glancing wounds, do I bleed out? Leather armor + Elven Cloak = Def!  :P

Currently, only if you're actually hit with a bleeding effect. I've tried the random-bleeding from cutting/puncture wounds before, but it always ended up kind of weird, and inconsistent. (Then again, so is all of combat in the first few levels, mostly due to magic. (Everyone has defense, but very little magic resistance) but I gave up trying to fix that a while back. You don't end up in the early levels very long though, so worry not.)

... Killed a(presumably) large amount of a city's guards without taking any actual damage. In the process, my hidden agenda of getting most of the prisoners killed succeeded too.

And here I nearly die to three Elven bandits. Joy.
Cheer up, it could be worse.

I'm sorry for dooming you

We're both sorry Tiruin...

Who said there isn't?  ;)

Azthor needs to perform the ceremony first, I've mostly been giving you the <???> choices just so you're not completely left out at the moment.

You wil have to foil to foil my Generic Villainy actually. Melritch's mad plans for getting back at society for ransacking his tower involves several undead legions... And that requires human resources... Something most abundant in large urban areas.

Nah, it's cool, I can wait for awhile. No need to worry about me. ^^^

Indeed, capitalization and punctuation are your best friends.

Examples:

With:
You enter the cave, pulling out your broadsword.  "I don't like the look of this Aram," Sam said, his hands lighting up.  So, darkness behind them; they slowly entered.

Without:
you enter the cave pulling out your broadsword "i don't like the look of this aram" sam said his hands lighting up so darkness behind them they slowly entered.

You sound much better when you use them and you make more sense.
Remember, not using capitalization and punctuation is the internet equivalent of talking like a three or four year old.

"Also note the small parts in sentences and the wording," said Tiruin with a smile. "Even if it sounds perfect to you in your head or voice, the written word does not say the same.

"Spell it out wholly, not like texting or shortened messaging."

Now back to the OOC'ing.

Aninimouse: If possible, could you post a map here? No matter how 'bad' it may be, I'm kind of lost with all the cities.

What a horrible reason to entirely omit proper grammar.

Agreed.  Not using it just because you're too lazy to is not excusable and it gives the wrong impression, especially if you're being a Game Master.  Being a good Game Master takes a lot of work, and you can't be lazy towards something as simple as good grammar and expect people to want to have you as their GM.

So I was reading the character sheets...Alisha is the son of a miner, but is also a woman. This could be a problem.
