So I was reading the character sheets...Alisha is the son of a miner, but is also a woman. This could be a problem.

I was waiting for someone to bring that up.

Regarding Combat...

Things have kicked off a bit better than I had expected here, it came to my own attention that I had decided to use the "Old" Medieval combat system here. The ol':

If you feel like doing the second option, it's a ton better. Spells, for example, could have AOE with it, and there would be more of a reason to use distance weaponry. ^^^

I prefer the method you use now, since it's easier when you get into wars like the ones I was in, but I'd say use whichever you prefer.

As a necromancer, I really like the second one. It allows for a lot of strategy with multiple units.

While it does get a little harder with big battles; As Sinpwn said, it adds a lot more strategy to it as well, especially when you're commanding other NPCs/Followers/Summons.

Character's History: Ezriel's life before undeath does not matter to him. He was, and then he was not, and then finally he was again. In this new life, the final was, he is a terror to behold.
