I believe we have been each refering to a different moment. My early comment on your bragging (albeit a minor one) was based on what you said before even deciding on wheter you'd join the fight, whereas your current view seems to relate to our discussion during the battle. Yes, we were evenly matched in the fight, but not in a fight at 100% MP capacity.

As for me and Azthor, in a fight without magic I'd be the strongest. But in a fight where we get to use what we have, we'd either both die, or one of us would die. In one case, I'd just stab him with elementals attacking him. In another, he'd pile corpses on top of me until I fell to peer pressure and became just like the people he surrounded me with.

How would I die? I have PvP resistance to your elementals, and your guard can't reach me any time soon. There won't be a corpse to pick up for a while.

You said I was bragging about being able to beat you. In the first quote, I was giving scenarios where either of us could win or die. In the second, I was genuinely confused as to what would kill me.

I never meant it as though you said you would surely defeat Melritch, but rather, as that you stood a chance of defeating Melritch. Sounds mighty arrogant of me, I know, but  it is not due to a build being more minmaxed than the other; Melritch's gear is heavily enchanted (10 extra stats, more than the 3rd level's increase), if you could ordinarily defeat him, that'd roughly equivalent to a 1st level Caboose beating a 3rd level Melritch.
