Then get stonebolted dead in your tracks for pulling off so creepy a stunt.

Oh, right, I don't think I mentioned this. On the Sepulchure path. Since I doubt I'll have enough time and willingness to RP getting married, having a daughter, having the wife die, then putting the wife's soul into a sword, I'll probably end up combining you and your soul jar with the sword I kill you with if I win our final battle. Hurray!

And why would you stonebolt me for doing the thing with stuff? Because it's creepier than anything Melritch could hope to pull off, or because I'd be free and have a sword?

Azthor, is Melritch going to give Caboose the location of the secret-mountain-road, or is he to find his way back himself?

I'm pretty sure I lost the spot I was on when I was reading through it, so I don't even know where it is OOC.

Has the map of the area around the Tower, including Ursiva. I'm sure Melritch would have at least given you the proper direction to travel in to reach Ursiva.

Yes, I was supposed to have given him the directions, sorry for forgetting about it, my attention isn't all that good at this hour of the day. Also, since IC Melritch could have been merely bluffing, I will confirm it outright in OOC: you really are free once the message is delivered. I am logging off.

As for the earlier question, joke aside, it'd be the later. Melritch is, without buffs, rather fragile. Also, we won't have a final battle, I don't want us being sued by The Wizard On The Coast for copying Greyhawk.

I don't even know what Greyhawk is. How could we possibly copy them if only one of us knows what it is, and the other is entirely unwilling to learn about it?

Terribly sorry about that Aninimouse I didn't have time to look through all of that last night and had forgotten to look through the rest in the morning. I appreciate that you run this game and I shouldn't have said anything else. Sorry.

Question/Poll Time for those of you who were interested in 'Modieval'.

In Medieval, when a player meets a player, or changes the world in a significant way, time has to be warped a bit for each player to actually interact. In Medieval, exact dates, times and such wouldn't necessarily be kept by most people, so at least it isn't too strange.

However, with Modieval taking place in a more modern setting, it would be a lot stranger than it already is for time to be twisting around. What do you guys think should be done to fix that, if anything?

Well, I typically have larger actions take up turns to keep everyone at roughly the same time, with smaller actions being treated as a separate thing.

I'd just continue to treat time as normal.

I mean, just avoid calendars and clocks and stuff from a narrative perspective.

Well, I typically have larger actions take up turns to keep everyone at roughly the same time, with smaller actions being treated as a separate thing.

I already do that with some things in Medieval, but with Modieval, traveling, even by vehicle would just be insanely monotonous if you had to travel somewhere far away. The world is around 5,000,000 km2

And what if one person has to go inactive for a while? They'll come back and possibly be (ingame) weeks behind

I'd just continue to treat time as normal.

I mean, just avoid calendars and clocks and stuff from a narrative perspective.

That could potentially mess with things quite a bit itself.
