There are all sorts of pieces of expensive looking Alchemical Equipment spread throughout the room. After taking a look at it all, you leave the room, finding yourself back in the main hall of the Wing.

A)Attempt Opening the Locked Door
B)Enter the Laboratory Again
C)Enter the Western Hallway
D)Enter the Eastern Hallway
E)Leave to the Stairwell

"Thank you." The man says weakly, drinking some of the water. As he drinks, you remember that familiar presence you had felt earlier. Who could it have been?..

A) As the man drank, Asha took the opportunity to inspect him for wounds or signs of illness such as fever, jaundice, etc. If she found anything it was within her magic's ability to cure, she would then do so.

There are no obvious wounds or signs of illness, which does make some sense. If it had been something easy to cure, he would have probably been healed by someone else by now...

A) Asha finished inspecting him. "Is there anything else I can do to help?" she asked, folding her hands before her. If there was nothing, she would leave to find out what that presence was.

A) Asha bowed slightly, inclining her head as well. "Good day to you, and swift recovery." She took her leave and exited the hospice. Were this a normal day, she would have stayed longer, but that presence was intriguing and she wanted to find it.

(Check my early comment about the Risen Guards' resistance. Also, Melritch's current MP ought to be 4.)

Woah. Now THAT is a gnome... I suppose it is better if I cut my losses for today. It was great fun while it lasted, gentleman!

*Have the minions haul as many corpses as possible while on the move. Leave as many elementals behind as needed to stall the assailants.
