Tala inclined her hand gratefully, thanked them, and moved on.

Somehow, she found found her arm looped around Feleris's arm, smiling as she walked.

"Keep close bodyguard, you never know when something might leap out at us.

...also, you said you traveled through these jungles before, Feleris? What sort of creatures live here?"

"Don't remind me," the Elf muttered to himself, as the Border Guard turned away. "Tala, as it seems you're in charge of us all, I'd like to point out that we need to find shelter soon." He felt fatigue from walking to and fro overland, but continued speaking in his deep tone, with a bit of variance, like a storyteller would while gesturing with his free arm. "In the Jungles of Wenevesenama, there lurks many a deadly beast. Blackish vines, with the strength of a grown man, will pull anything that provokes them to an unknown fate. Red flowers, mimicking those of the healing variety, are able to cause illusions and deeply poison the body, if unprepared with an antidote. Even the insects are warped to certain extents! Spiders, crimson and red, as big as any adult, stalk the place like their own home. Staying at an inn at Wenevesenama sounds alright. And even if we do get attacked, I don't think any enemy would fare well against four armed opponents." He felt regretful of not keeping extra coinage on hand, other than the single coin left.

While waiting for their answer, the Elf leaned nearer to Rhett and casually turned to him. "Rhett, I don't think we've left anything from when we took our leave in your shack, right?"

Rhett follows you for a moment, "What of the ruins?" He asks. "This could be the start of the first war the Elves and Orcs have been involved in since I arrived here with DuGrail. The first war where the key to the ruins is within their grasps. If the artifact, and the knowledge contained within the ruins could somehow fall into the hands of the wrong side..."

"Rhett, don't worry. I'm loyal to you as you've saved my life. But, I have a pretty good feeling about those two humans, no offense, we can trust them that they won't go running off when information is disclosed. They have secrets of their own, too, and I don't want to force anyone to start this all.

Besides, if we're going to start up an expedition, we should firstly gain the trust of those who may come with us. Just posting signs of 'expedition members wanted' on the town boards won't cut it. Where exactly is the ruins, if not near our position?" He lowered his voice. "Only you have the key to it's entrance, and I trust you won't lie. If the Ruins were breached, it would take one powerful army or one self-centered arch-lich to survive there. I don't think it would lie undefended.

Also, I'll make sure that nobody knows of that secret, with you being the gatekeeper, if I may use the term so don't worry. Tala and Asha seem very well versed in diplomacy, and we have a common goal now. I think it's best to reveal to them our plan later on, if you deem it so.

We aren't sure which side is right or wrong now, we can decide that once we have factual evidence. And that is what I want to fix here."

"I am not worried about the Blackstone sisters, but what if something is to happen to me?" Rhett asks, sounding a bit worried. "If we allow the artifact to be used for war, the consequences would be devastating. Perhaps I am just being paranoid, perhaps the Elves and Orcs know nothing of the ruins... But you must make haste with your decision, and information gathering on this conflict... The entire world may be at risk." He finishes, before turning and walking back to Asha and Tala.
