A. "Why are there Orcs in our Capital City? And why did you bring two humans with you?" Feleris eyed the two next to the Orc, hard to do subtly as the orc's girth was taking up room, being studded with muscle and armor.

The two were female, and they were dressed in the fashion of warriors. A Magus and a Bladeswoman, a strange sight to see. Emissaries maybe? They held themselves with the air of nobility; it was stranger to see them with an Orc, but everything now seemed to be strange so he didn't mind that, excluding his dreams of late. The presence of Human Nobility gave him caution, was a war starting without his knowing? And why did they all meet in the Northern Capital? Did the Thelanawen have anything to do with this?

"And forgive me for my abrupt questioning. Introductions are to be made, I guess? I am Feleris Valinar," he gestured to the human beside him, "and this is Rhett, the human responsible for saving my life. We are both preparing for a journey-..." he allowed his voice to drift off in silence, lest he say too much. Looking down, he didn't seem that formal anyway even if he was in fresh clothing, based on the bloodstains in hard to reach parts (weaponry), so he guessed this would cover it.

"I've been away longer than I thought then. The humans aren't with you then? And you are ready to march into war with us, why? I admit, I seem to have forgotten our qualm with the Southerners, but I didn't know everyone else had grudges to nurse, enough to get into war! What is the cause of all this?" The Elf couldn't believe it, but the facts were there. The multitude at the Training Grounds, the lack of (or the increase) of Border Guardians. He was still confused by what the Apothecary said about his connection with the Thelanawen, but war?!

Tala inclined her head politely. She liked the way he moved. It was very... artistic.

"...As are we.

I am Tala Blackstone-youngest of five sisters, Journeywoman sword-fighter, and Heirblade*...and, this is my sister Asha..."

*Heirblades: An official term used for potential heirs of a noble family, specifically used to indicate those who must prove their martial prowess. It's common in both Elven and Human societys, but fairly nonexistent in the more conservative Orc and Dwarf communities.

She listened to the Orc and Feleris, nodding.

"...We found out as much. Me and my sister were about to investigate this matter more thoroughly, and perhaps lend our blades and spells to the Elves cause.

And, we arrived quite apart from the Orcs, actually."

(Asha isn't dressed like a warrior. She's dressed like a White Mage with blue instead of red.)

Asha merely inclined her head to the elf. She was a natural passive personality, and Tala was a natural aggressive one. Letting her usually speak for both was fine with her. "...Indeed. We know nothing of the situation. We were merely passing through originally, but curiosity and general goodwill seems to have gotten the better of us." She leaned on her staff. "As for me, I have little in common with my youngest sister's skills. I am primarily a healer, although I've recently begun dabbling in offensive spells." Asha shrugged and waited to see what conclusion Feleris and Tala would come to.

A. Await more information, if Rhett agrees.

The Elf nodded at the sound of the Human's names, looking each in the eye before turning to Rhett. "Do you think we should help them out first?" he said, nudging him with his elbow subtly to indicate the other meaning. Though, it was rare to see human nobility traveling the land, and he was quite glad that they introduced themselves without that greater-than-you attitude, something unlike what he knew of nobility. "I don't think we'll be able to travel back down south with such a storm brewing up. If the Thelenawen would be preparing for war, and if our journey would cross their territory, then I don't think we'll be escaping alive, Rhett. War is a very serious thing here." He turned back to the Orc without waiting for a reply. "I guess me and him have time to spare, I hope you don't mind if we wait for that information."

He tilted his head slightly towards the Nobles. "I am knowledgeable with the bow and dagger, a bit of healing magic on my side too, but for personal use as I didn't put much effort into that path." He tapped the hilt of his dagger while speaking. "So I guess we're all here for a reason then? Information on war?"

((Yep, White Mages do look like warriors, by meaning noble and looking experienced enough to handle the stress of combat. ))

"And if the Thelenawen somehow obtain the artifact?" Rhett asks Feleris, "Aside from that, when we left Wenevesenama there were no signs of any sort of preperations for war, and that was only yesterday evening."

A. The Elf turned to face Rhett. "Well, I'm not actually sure about that. If rumors of war can spread as far as this, then there must be a reason. Either someone is stirring up great trouble down south, or we were just lucky to escape Wenevesenama in time. Or that the city isn't that affliated with Thelenawo. I can only guess, but by seeing what everyone else is doing, I don't think they've been informed just a week ago. The presence of Orcs and traveling Nobles add to that, the latter may be because of adventure or something blood-related. I'm not sure. Besides, you have the key. How can there be a duplicate? Unless it is generic and that the ruins are near Thelenawo, I doubt they would obtain it without their Ruler intervening.

Asha raised an eyebrow as the elf spoke of them as if they weren't there. "Yes, adventure is the driving motivation behind our travels, although perhaps more so on my sister's side than mine. What artifact are the two of you speaking of that could be so important a war would be fought over it?"

[Dwarmin]

Tala looked at Feleris a bit more intensely, up and down. She found herself swaying left and right, taking in the view as she spoke to him. When he turned back to her, she cast her eyes demurely aside.

"...My sister speaks truthfully. Why indeed? I know of many poor excuses for war, meager artifacts are the least of them."

"Yes, there is only one key." Rhett whispers to Feleris, "However, as long as I am outside of the ruins, it isn't safe. I do not know if the Thelenawen know of the artifact, or the ruins, but if they do, or if they find out..."

Rhett turns to Asha and Tala, "It is nothing important." He replies.
