Sheath all weapons and proceed without any impunity. Well, that is what I remember our guardians as. Unless those flowers did anything else, which I really don't like.

"Thinking of that, what is the name of these flowers? I've found similar stems and roots of them, including this black vine that I cut away, losing one of my knives in the process. Now with all that behind me, I'd like to personally welcome you to my home. Ecanomina."

Proceed vigilantly towards the Tree-City. Inquire about collected plant specimen.

You enter the city, which seems a bit quieter than it usually is... Strange. "Black vines? I've never seen or heard of any sort of black vines in the jungle..." Rhett replies, sounding intrigued. "Are you sure it wasn't a hallucination, or part of your dreams?" He asks.

A. "Dead sure, Rhett. The empty sheath on my left confirms it. It's twin is holding my other dagger. And...I admittedly only took the flowers when I was...dying, against this Giant red spider, after killing another one of theirs. Strangely, it ran away after seeing me take them, stranger too that it didn't kill me. This was all in the forest, your forest, I'd presume.

"And...this is weird, usually this place is filled with song and joy. A vibrant atmosphere." Feleris looked towards the sky. The canopies were devoid of life, or that everyone was everywhere else. He couldn't shrug his dream off about that spider. But at least the ground and fields near the city weren't filled with Red Flowers. "Hello? Anyone?" The Elf called out.

"Not normal, as far as memory serves. But what am I doing, with all these antics? You are my guest, and deserve a respite after this journey. I know a place to stop by before anything else."

Proceed to home.

A. The Elf couldn't help but grin when his eyes saw the Fungus book. He'd bet that he wouldn't find what those flowers were in here, as it wasn't obviously a fungus, but maybe this would come into use later. Even the Alchemy book, his backpack was 'upgraded' as of late, being filled with dangling straps and side pockets. He decided to take it too.

Then, it was off to his cabinet in the bedroom.

Get 100 Varieties of Fungus and Their Uses ; Elpidio's Guide to Beginner's Alchemy. Head to Cabinet in bedroom.

"Now I'm not going to leave anything behind. Maybe even visit the local marketplace and...sell off some of the things I don't need. Give away the cutlery and such to my relatives and neighbors, they'd need it more than I would currently as I don't plan on a swift return unless war would occur..."
