A few questions.
« on: January 13, 2012, 03:06:22 am »

Archery ranges. I've got an archery range, unobstructed pathing to it, set to train with a certain squad, squad is set to training all year round 5 minimum. they have quivers and crossbows and ammunition. And it seems I forgot to set their current bolts to training in the ammunition screen. Good day to you, everyone.  :o

::EDIT::
Oh yes. The other question. How viable is an artifact leather shield?

sort of...  the material won't affect its *shielding* properties, but heavier material (like copper) is generally considered better for shields because dwarves frequently *bash* with their shields for blunt damage, and heavier = better for blunt damage.  So your leather shield will be a great shield, but a poor bashing weapon.

Note that all shields do not have any different in the blocking rate (yes, there is a fixed block rate). The material making it only affects its weight and bashing power.

But use that leather artifact shield. Because it is an artifact.
