Author's Note: ANOTHER PAINT ADVENTURE AHOY. Expect the art quality to drop a couple updates in because I'm a lazy bastard, and because it means faster updates. And, for once, I'm not going to predetermine a probable plot and setting for this. I am going to make this shit up as I go along, and it will end somehow, unlike the Prince of Toast thing which just sort of died off eventually.

PURPOSE: RESOURCE GATHERING

WELCOME TO ARANESVILLE


You are DWARFBOT-A4, A4 for short. You are one of the many run-of-the-mill automatons produced for the war, most of which are used to kill stuff. You have just approached an enemy fortress under guise of being a resource gatherer - which, technically, you are. You just tend to gather lots and lots of scrap metal. Which may or may not be the remains of your enemies.

Regardless, you are currently on a QUEST to RETRIEVE YOUR RIGHT ARM, which you lost in a battle recently. It's kind of useful, and you've managed to track it to this specific fort.



What do you do?

You open up your STATUS SCREEN to remind yourself what you brought with you. A standard (read: extremely shittty) shiv, and a proton cannon usually used by tanks that you 'commissioned' for this mission. You also display your HEALTH and ELECTRICITY bars. And while you're reminding yourself of things, you remember that your HEALTH bar stands for how much more damage you can take before you turn into a crumpled heap of scrap, and the ELECTRICITY bar is used for certain weapons, such as the cannon.


You enter the ruin, keeping an eye out for traps and elves. Thus far, you see no sign of your arm, elves, traps, or anything else of note besides a shitton of rubble.
What do you do?

You dig through the rubble, and miracle of miracles, actually find some useful stuff!

You find an EXTREMELY SHITTY BACKPACK, which is useful for keeping an inventory since you kind of lost your old one on the way here. Frickin' wolves.
The other thing is... well, you're not entirely sure, but whatever it is, it still seems to work, so it'll probably be worth something to either your superiors or a pawnshop.
