IronyOwl: If I was the cop, I'd inspect the most aggressive player or the one leading scumhunting, to be sure of their alignment. If a doc, I'd try to first determine who seems to be the most dangerous to the scum and protect them. As a vigilante, I'd withhold my kill until I am mostly sure that my target is scum, As a scum then it would be most random; but not the one who either voted me for any reason.

PowderMiner - I've been out of practice for a while. Have you played much before? Are you thinking of any particular approach for this game? Before it started, were you hoping to be a commando, or a ninja?

I've played some games, and although I'm not the best I can play.
That said I never really cared about being commando or ninja, and considering I knew absolutely nothing about this game- and I still know nothing except my role- I haven't had a plan.

As town I'd be more worried about the new player who I would be less able to read. As scum I'd be more worried about the player who was familiar with my meta.

I agree.  We have too many skilled players here to afford not getting a read on them.  Although, I'd say that policy lynches probably shouldn't continue too far in for obvious reasons.  Why do you care about my opinion?

Well that would be like being a serial killer except you don't have to deal with mafiakills.  So play like a serial killer I guess - like my normal game, except not taking claim risks.

Because I want as many people as possible on record as saying they want to take down lurkers so that I can beat them over the head with it if they decide to later lurk.  I've decided that RVS could have a useful role in ensuring later game activity.  So I guess as long as you understand this I can unvote and try to spread the word some more.

What do you think of that, Ottofar?  Lurkers and "not really playing the game at all"ers are bad for the game, right?  Should we be going after lurkers to make sure they don't slip under the radar and ruin the game?

He asked if I had questions, not in a demanding way, but in a passive confrontational-avoiding way. In short, he was trying to hard to avoid my ire.
