That actually has been debated in a forum I lurk in a few times, where everyone would have the exact same time and all that was different were the times sun rises/night falls/etc. However, I think the majority was against that change because hurrdurr too big of a change

Well, what I mean to say is, say you want us to all meet at, say, 6 PM your time, you add it up to GMT+0, write that down, and then everyone works out their time from their, rather than everyone having to work out their time straight from yours. It's like meeting in the middle.

Hmmm ... if for fun I make a 100% speaking skills related character, do you think he would be useful at all? :P For example, Intimidate/Diplomacy/Persuade/Fast-talk etc all high, with a high IQ and little or no other skills.

Probably useful, although you'd be useless quite a bit of the time as well. A minimum competency in combat is heavily suggested, although that might only means a couple points in pistol. :P

Since I'm rather bored, I'll make such a character. Whether I'll use it or not depends >.>

If you do go for a pistol wielding character I recommend a brace full of pistols. =p

Anyone who wants to make a character for the hell of it, please go ahead. Even if you don't play, they might enter the game as npcs.

Oh, gosh, I just realized something.

In PTA, most of my characters are MAs/WMs.

In GURPS? WORKAHOLICS, ALL OF THEM

Here. This guy is one overpowered dude.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19699067/JNM/Thrawn.gca4

He has 16 IQ. This means he need only spend 1 point on most magic to get a lvl 16 spell, which is probably pretty good. He also has a 20 for Public Speaking. All four enthrallment skills are 14, and Fast-talk is 19. Diplomacy 18. He also has 14 in Shiphandling. Hopefully the ship we have is counted as a sea-faring ship ... Halfway in, I realized his high IQ could also be utilized for magic. That is how Thrawn became a magician. He has all sorts of protection and fire spells, and some communication spells.

...He also happens to be 40 years old.

Maybe I'll do Thrawn for the sheer OPness >.>
Although Eurika will probably be more fun :D

BTW, is a spell like "Force-cage" eligable for PC-created spells? Effect would be : It creates a cage that is like a regular Force spell. It mostly prevents the target from moving around. The empty spots in the cage allow anyone to attack from inside or out.

EDIT: Wow, Thrawn has better spell levels than the team magician... Misha.

Looks like we may not be playing anything tonight. Want to get on Google Docs Felius and work on those NPCs while I work on the last two missions?

If we are not playing it's better that I sleep relatively soon, it'll make my day tomorrow much smoother, and I can deal with the npcs then.
