Oh, does Phobia(Sound magic) [-10] work? Its like an imagined Vulnerability, which probably is more realistic than an actual Vulnerability.
Honestly, I'm not entirely comfortable with it. It's too conditional and unlikely to actually limit or hinder you unless we specifically try to target it, other than maybe preventing some extra help in being sneaky. If you truly think its important for the character I'll put it under consideration.

I think the guidelines for Dependent + Allies are too overpowered. I think I'll ditch the improbable Phobia-Sound Magic and replace it with Dependent/Ally. Right now, with 50% stat points, (and a base of Str5, DX5,IQ0,HT7) Mr.Fluffy is turning out to be worth -26 points. I don't know why :/ I think its because of "Always Turns Up (No dice roll) = x4" and "Status: Lover (x2)".

Find and use a cat template. IQ 0 is not acceptable unless it's literally mindless. A cat with DX 5? And for fucks sake, it's your fucking LOVER? I'm going to make you take up "Social Stigma (Cat-Fucker)" if it is indeed your lover.

I thought Lover meant "Absolutely MUST go and save"

Also, I understood IQ 0 as "cannot understand language" :/
You didn't need to use words like "fuck" and "fucker", you know.

EDIT: I found a cat template.

Oh, thanks for reminding me. Lemme go call up Weird to tell him to make a note about the language that will probably be used.

Just to let you know, it probably might come up in RP.

I don't care about swear words. Only if they are directed at me, not my character/avatar. Me.

Sorry, but it really felt weird what you were making. If I caused offense, I apologize.

But back again: IQ 0 is literally mindless. Animals generally have IQ from 1 to 6. Here's the house cat stat block from the basic set - campaigns:

House Cat
A domestic feline, kept as a pet,
familiar, or mouser.
ST 4; DX 14; IQ 4; HT 10.
Will 11; Per 12; Speed 6; Dodge 10;
Move 10.
SM -3; 10 lbs.
Traits: Catfall; Combat Reflexes;
Domestic Animal; Night Vision 5;
Quadruped; Sharp Claws; Sharp
Teeth.
Skills: Brawling-16; Jumping-14;
Stealth-14.

Edit: Here, found what you intended. Yes, loved one can be acceptable. But please don't use the word lover when referring to cats or any other non sentient animals.

Edit2: Do note that if your dependent appears all the time as a dependent, it does mean it's going to cause problems all and every single session we play. You are aware of that, right?

There is a reason it is weird. I am an utter newbie to TRPGs in general and GURPS in particular. Also, the template I found is a "enhanced" one, with slightly more abilities than that. Here are the base :

ST2, DX14,IQ8, HT13, Reduced HP 10 (whatever that is :/). One hit, I assume? Advantages Alert, Appearence, Catfall, Claws, Combat Reflexes, Double Jointed, Quadruple Legs, Night Vision.
Disadvantages Laziness, Mute,No Fine Manipulators, Dislike(Water),Poverty,Primitive,Stubbornness.

Base skills Acrobatics, Jumping, Stealth,Climbing(unique).

Does that sound OK?

EDIT: Also, Social Stigma, Mute

I'll ponder on it when I'm less sleepy, specially since I see a few issues with it. It'll have some fixes if accepted.

What are the issues? :-0

EDIT: Just saw your edit. So that's how it works! Better fix that up. Also, that's just what the book said-lover. Also, the term cat lover. I see your point though.

Hmm, never even thought about pets. Grimbeard could possibly have something, but it would be small, rare, and probably expensive. Like a crystaline spider, or gemstone snake or the like.

I don't think Grim would ever spend the time and money to raise an animal unless he thought he might one day be able to use it's corpse to create something, or it looked pretty enough that he thought he might be able to sell or trade it later on.
