Paranioa is fun, The Computer says so. Disagreeing with the computer is treason. Being unhappy is also treason. (but seriously, go here to learn more http://www.paranoia-live.net/content.php?article.6)

Yeah, you'll just be waitlisted. Though, considering the game the wait-list in probably going to be short.

You can certainly join citizen. Paranoia is fun and fun is a leading cause of happiness. Being Happy is mandatory as well citizen. Do you have any specific name in mind for your character or should I just make one up? You can see some of my past work (plus what everyone else gave me) in the first post on the list. For reference (And this applies to Geen highlighted so he can see his name as well since I forgot to respond to his offer of a name for his character) Names are in the form of [Characters name]-[Security Clearance]-[Sector of Alpha Complex you are from]. All sectors are three letter strings.

For reference, I'll be trying to get another post up tomorrow by about now-ish. Also it's so rough trying to figure out how much freedom I need to give you guys so you do not feel railroaded and how much to take away just so I can have each post slightly more involved. I'm accepting opinions of the ongoing style I am trying to uncover here.

Thankfully the trip to the briefing room is uneventful and it does not take the squad long to reach their destination. The door to the briefing room is left partially open and shows that the lights have been turned off in the room. This is strange given you are positive this is the right briefing room and that you have not already been briefed yet. Maybe you are early?

Claire peeks inside the meeting room and acts shocked and appalled, regardless of what is there.

If there is a clock around, look at it to see if we are early.  If so, wait until it is time.  Earliness is the mark of COMMUNIST SYMPATHY.  If we are late, we need to get in there now, and hope everyone else is later than us.  Lateness is also the mark of COMMUNIST SYMPATHY.  If on time, I enter the room and sit down without turning on the lights.  Maybe they need a higher clearance to turn on than I have.

I doubt we are early, as the ALMIGHTY WONDERFUL COMPUTER would have made sure we set off with no time to spare.

Tagliatelle goes and sits in the briefing room in the dark, and protests if anyone tries to turn the lights on. If it is dark, the computer wanted it this way.

No problem Geen. I just wanted to make sure you were aware.

Tonight if Micelus hasn't posted I'll probably be bringing Crustypeanut into the game. After all it will have been well past the 24-36 hour mark by then. Like I said I'm going to try to keep things flowing.

Also, if anyone has questions on what their stuff does just PM me and I'll give you whatever infomation you are cleared to have on it. Might also be helpful for you to double check if you sent me a Tic as well, I only have tics for three or four of you (characters are on a different computer).

Apologies for the double post, but it's the only thing I can do to ensure everyone can tell there is a new post. Please note that Micelus is now inactive and Crustypeanut has moved into the team. This will happen shortly.

Well you are most certainly not early and it could well be possible you are late. Claire watches from the doorway as Tagliatelle and Cecil bravely enter the dark room. After a few steps there is a quiet hum followed by a buzz. The buzz is followed by a noise not unlike an electric system asking for five more minutes in bed. The lights then flicker on to reveal the briefing officer slumped over his desk. You are quite sure that the hole in his blue reflec armor is perfectly natural and requires no investigation. As all of you step into the room the yellow stripe on Clay's reflec armor reflects brightly, signifying him as a registered mutant. As members of his team you are all aware that, in spite of his traitorous genes, works to be as good of a citizen as any of you. You also know that his blood can burn a hole through just about anything, including you.

While you are still thinking on the situation a DocBot wanders into the room, takes one look at the body, and then promptly injects Mac-R-MIC-1 with a syringe. The bot quickly escapes and you could swear it was laughing. A thud follows Mac landing on the floor.

Well. Nice start to our careers.

Taliatelle does nothing. Just waits.
