Edit: A note for anyone who stumbles upon this thread or who participated in it. Way back when I was running this game I had a lot of real life getting in the way of my posts and eventually couldn't get online for a long while there. I do apologize for my sudden disappearance but I'm not going to make a new post for the simple fact I don't want to get people's hopes up by making them think that I am resuming this.

Quick insight into the world of Paranoia. You know, if you don't know what Paranoia is.The Twelfth Troubleshooter Division is a new and inventive theory from R&D! Here they will test if deploying different troubleshooters than the ones who die will have a positive or negative impact on mission success and traitor identification rates. The Twelfth Troubleshooter Division (D12 for short) lives in a communal barracks designed to hold as many members as Friend Computer deems necessary to test the theory. New members are arriving daily.
Order while supplies last! This is a Paranoia game for all of Bay12 to participate. Not a player? Post suggestions on what should happen! (Or PM them to me if they are particularly
treasonous good.) Want to be a player? Just say so! A new you will be created and added to the list of Troubleshooters (see below). You'll get to join in on the fun just as soon as enough people die. For reference I am runnign this game in the
Classic scheme, but given how many people have already signed up I think leaning towards Zap might not be a bad idea. Players in the list get cycled in and out and given perversity points (which can be used to influence just about any event the troubleshooters are aware of, even if your character isn't anywhere nearby) as they come back into the game.

Mostly posting this to check interest in the community, I'll preface this by saying if anything for this does happen it'll happen later on in the week/early next week.
I had the curious idea the other day of running a Paranoia game. I figured why not try it on the Bay12 forums where it would be easy to get participation. Unfortunately I really don't feel like running another scheduled session of a PnP over maptool or whatever so I decided to turn this into a forum game of sorts. Essentially instead of having to pick just four-six individuals I will be attempting to allow as many people to play as possible. I know what you are thinking, "Denzi, how could you possibly handle so many players at once?" and I have to agree, the logistics of handling so many at once would be more work than is needed. Thus I came up with another idea. Why not combine Paranoia with one of Bay12's favorite pastimes? Thus Succession Paranoia was born! This would be a classic style paranoia game with a twist. Once you die the next person in the waiting list will be delivered instead of you. This should make for a much more dynamic game where we will get a lot of different players having their say in how a mission is handled. I'd like to see how interested this forum would be in attempting to run a game. No experience in Paranoia would be necessary , of course (Knowing the rules is treason, treason being punishable by summary execution).
For reference I'll be handling absences and the like depending on how much it delays the story. I'll give everyone 24-36 hours to post from my last post, if you don't post your character will die(thus you'll have to wait for your next rotation) in an effort to keep everything speedy. If you know in advance you won't have time to do anything tell me and I'll kill your character off (but instead you'll be added to a priorty list if you'd prefer, so you can join up as soon as someone dies after you come back. Like I said, make it easy/fast for me to manage and it'll be easy for you to get back in).
So who wants to serve the most glorious Friend Computer?
