Heh, I didn't even see that. I've been going to the gym to try and increase my endurance for things like Tough Mudder, but I'm not yet good enough to. Perhaps next year, if my fitness increases at the same level.

You would be surprised how little you need.

If you want to do it quickly, yeah, you should be fit... but if you don't mind going a little slower and resting as needed, you can get by with fairly average fitness levels.
